Jones to the Titans

Just saw this as well. Not a bad deal, 2 picks, but really not thing significant beyond the 2nd as they likely can recoup that 4th with a comp down the line. If he takes them to the top then the cost is moot, if his injuries start catching up that money still owed may turn against them..but overall worth the risk with the talent they already have.

 

How much better can the Titans be on offense? I thought they had enough offense with Henry, Brown & Tannehill. Defense is suspect but then again have to be able to score with
Mahomes.

The titans must have to take on his contract??? Because the Falcons didn't seem to get much in return. A late 2nd (probably) and what a 4th? I guess you could add getting someone off the team who doesn't want to be there.

 

Good move by the Titans for certain! AFC South should be more interesting indeed; the AFC as a whole. Even if this form of Julio is not the 2013-2018 versions of him, should he recapture some of that magic, the Titans will definitely be a dark horse entering the playoffs.... assuming Julio can stay healthy of course.

This is a decent trade for Tennessee as long as they don’t do something stupid like give him a new contract. That offence could be insane if they all stay healthy.

The problem is that the defence is probably going to be pitiful. They’ll get away with it in the regular season in a weak division but they’re not going to be able to stop anybody in the playoffs when they need to.
