I am not a Winston Fan Boy but don't think he gets a fair shake. He's won one and lost one as a first time starter in NO. Who do they have for him to throw the ball to? I saw some film with him being racked up by the defense yesterday. NO is a garbage job, post Brees.

 

I don't know about a fair shake, but 8 out of 10 times if You fail at 2 different team...especially if the team You leave Win a SB the next Year....You are pretty much done , or a backup.

 

Really? If TB had given him Gronk, AB and the other staff Brady got, do you think he could have done better? Let be honest here. TB was pedestrian until Brady came in dictating what he needed to succeed.

Did I just say ...I don't know about a fair shake???, but ....when a Qb takes Your place, and Wins a SB....then You take over a team that just went 12-4 ....You better have a winning season.

 

If the team you take over is fading, then the point is moot. NO was a sinking ship that Brees vacated.

Here let's break it down.
No matter how it really is ....this is how it will be seen by 97% of people.
1. You never had a winning season.
2. Your team gets rid of You , and the next Year Win the SB.
3. You take over a 12- 4 team.
You dang well better win.
Doesn't make a dang who the Qb is....if everything plays out this way.....that is how people will look at it....Right, Wrong , or this , that, and the other ....it is what will be thought.

 

Winston has the skills but not the heart. Mariota is better.
