Maybe he won't, but he should be given a chance to succeed, when you are getting hit 2yds behind LOS
pretty tough to make 150 yds per game.

Funny how every team makes "dumb turnovers." It's almost as if the defense creates turnovers. Oh wait. That's exactly what is happening.

He completed 10 of 16 passes despite Johnson dropping a big play on the opening drive. Actually, Johnson had both hands on two passes on that first possession. The second one would have been wiped out by a holding penalty if he had caught it, but he still dropped it.

Pickett did screw up on third-and-goal before Boswell's first-half field goal, finding Johnson coming open too late, but otherwise he seemed to be overcoming another slow start to get the offense moving when he got hurt.

It just amazes me how quickly people overreact. Kenny had missed a few throws to start the game and Dobbs went down and scored on their first possession. Then all of a sudden Dobbs is a better QB and why the hell did the Steelers let him go! Nevermind the fact that he threw 2 interceptions and if it weren't for one of his lineman being in the right place, he would have fumbled the ball deep in their own end.

Same goes for Purdy. According to some on here, he was head and shoulders above Pickett the first 5 games of the season now low and behold he and the 9ers have lost 3 straight and he's not playing all that well. I just never understood the need to make such absolute statements so early in the season.

Darnell Washington has transformed into the Loch Ness Monster. As foe Elijah?! God only knows for the last time we all saw him against Cleveland, dude looked pretty damn good.

he throws check down charlie not even to the chains completions, FLUSH those numbers, HE SUCKED.

and yes - DJ always screws up, we desperately need better WR's - DJ has hands problems, been stated here for years.

but that first play, kenny needs to hit him in stride, not so high with that pass. DJ had to jump and it still hit his finger tips.

Rodney Williams dropped two passes. So why wasn't Washington on the receiving end of a couple?

seems like we throw to pickens and he scores. hmmmmm. why would we do this? heyward has more targets. intelligence is lacking. we try harder not to get the ball to our playmakers then we do actually getting them the ball. i think they game plan to not have our best players involved. tomlin is secretly a plant from baltimore, cleveland and cincinnati. we win just enough to hide this fact. it's all making sense now. hoodie is involved somehow i'm certain of it.:cool:

He's too busy being the 6th OL, probably the main reason they drafted him, it would be nice if they threw him a few passes and let him use his size advantage.

Najee looked slow. He hesitates to much. The offense looked pathetic! Number 30 and number 14 are the only ones worth keeping! I will take Pickett over trubisky. Trubisky is garbage. If he plays Thursday I am not watching the game! I swear to God! And the refs! Unreal how they control the game! And on top of that we have to pay 400 dollars to watch this garbage! NFL games should be free.!

Please....use another Qb of You must make an example. LoL. 1- 16 added together on 3 teams is not something I want My Qbs to aspire for.

It's a ball he should catch. It was more of a lunge than a jump. Even Johnson said he needs to catch that ball. Many of those check downs are by Canada's poor design. Even with that, he started finding his stride in the second quarter. The numbers weren't bad to begin with. Add in the catch Johnson should have made and they are very good.
