    There’s no excuses

    Healthy ben
    Healthy defense
    Healthy offense minus Gilbert
Got brown, the missing piece Bryant, so called best RB.

    Ben mentally is whatever.
Can’t stop the run. Sorry but that’s infuriating. Rather give up the pass, stop the run and have a good red zone D.

Sorry AQL I’m gonna attack tomlin. Doesn’t have control of his cuckadoodle-do Haley, and leaving Ben in there really lol.

I think Ben goes out on a whimper, I don’t see this like the 2015 Broncos.

If anything going forward just stop the dang run

Trust me. Rarely do I put it on the coahces and more specifially Tomlim. However.

This. Is. A. Near. Team. Failure.

Just about everyone deserves blame. Coaches down.

They can't stop the run because they are almost always in nickel, that tells me they see a bad pass defense in practice. Giving up 3rd and long too much has been getting old for years now. Ben can't throw in tight windows anymore and the receivers are either running poor routes, the teams know the routes based on formation, or we face the best CBs in the league every week. Seriously, how many times did we use to see guys getting wide open and then toward the end of last season coverages got real tight? I think coaches have picked up on Haley's offense and CBs now run the same routes as the receivers are running, even quick slants aren't there as we saw Ben had to pull down those quick pass routes 3 times today because guys were in perfect position, that isn't luck, they know where the receivers are going.

Who would have thought that our two losses after five games would have been to the Bears and Jags?!

Well I firmly believe drastic times call for drastic measures. We've been seeing this O underachieve for too long. The only common denominators are Ben and Haley and "obviously " we're not gonna bench Ben.So I propose we fire Haley and see what happens it can't get any worse...

I thought at home, with our talent on offense and an up and coming young defense, we wouldn't have any issues with the Jags. Boy was I wrong.

They were not in nickel when the Jaguars shoved the ball down their collective throats today. Please don't make that excuse.

The drive that ate up most of the fourth quarter was more of what they did wrong against the Bears. The linebackers were constantly out of position, especially failing to set the edge on the outside. Honestly, that concerned me a lot more than the 90-yard run, which came when the game was effectively out of reach.

Go ahead and fire the offensive coordinator but so long as Ben looks like broken down Peyton Manning only stupid it isn't going to matter.

Not much you can do when your franchise qb throws 5 interceptions including two returned for touchdowns. This kiss is almost 100% on Ben.

Ben threw 5 picks and the coaches are to blame? Ben is just not into the games. Jacksonville has a good defense but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. They should of done just like last week pound the rock 30-40 times. Ben looked lost today at home where he usually plays good. So now that Bears lose is coming back to bite us. The Ravens are going to be tied for the division lead because their stomping the Raiders. I know we still have more than half the year left but we should be 4-1 or even 5-0. We definitely shouldn’t of lost to the lowly Bears. The pregame I’m sure distracted them but game time comes you have to put that behind you. We made Jacksonville look like the ‘85 Bears or the 2000 Ravens. Very disappointed with their effort especially Ben.

Probably not....but I don't think we should just sit back and watch it crumble around us. There is still a chance to make noise this seasons but it's not gonna happen without a change...This is probably Bens last year anyway,so give him what he probably wants anyway. Besides do you really want Haley leading our future QB?

Ben retired in the off season. This Steelers team is done and needs to find a QB or the future is in trouble.

They can stop the run they have shown it but when push comes to shove they make mistakes time and time again that make appear that they can't. The 90 yarder by Fournette was again Shazier who is a great instinct player not playing sound fundamental football. He sees a gap runs up to plug it figuring somebody else will cover his responsibility and then the solid blocking by the Jags takes over. Hat on hat and Fournette is off to the races. If Shazier sits tight and follows the RB he makes hte tackle instead he gets gobbled up in a well blocked play and it turns into a huge play. Same with VW I am sure he blitzed a gap when he should have stayed put and tackled the ball carrier.

I agree though hard to imagine any team winning throwing 5 picks, much less 2 for scores

Oh, and the defense was fine. Yet again it was the offense that sunk the team. Seriously, the defense gave up one drive while it mattered.
Game was over anyway. The offense was inept and that is why we lost. The defense was plenty good enough again if the offense were just competent. Instead they gave the Jags 14 points and the game was over.

Doesnt surprise me as we always play down to the level of our competition. Firmly believe that is a coaching issue, but Tomlin not going anywhere soon. He is just bad along with his OC and DC.
