Apparently because he is old lol. That was the reason a guy I work with gave me this week. Sunday was the Vikings/Packers grudge match and he was taunting Vikings fans with the fact that his Lions beat the Pack. I said settle down since Megatron could only manage 88 yards versus the team that gave up 284 to just AB. His excuse was Brown is younger lol.

I don't know if it's that he's not healthy or Father Time is beginning to catch up with him.

it could be a little of both strummer, but that turf toe is hard to get over. it's painful and it ended 58's career. timmons isn't playing quite as fast as he used to, even back to last year. he's still fairly young age wise but years on the field take their toll on the human body over time.

Yeah, he's got something like 9 or 10 seasons on him. That is a lot of mileage. The front office is going to have another difficult decision to make in the off season. Do you keep him and his 15 million dollar salary, cut him and eat the dead money, or extend him? I'm inclined to extend him in hopes that his skills don't deteriorate that drastically, minimizing the dead money hit in the process. Unfortunately we don't really have big thumper of an ILB behind him. We have Williams, but he's really limited in pass coverage.

Probably because they actually have some DB'S who can play...If they had a group as bad as ours then CJ probably would be playing defense...

It's difficult to know if Timmons is still injured. Seems like he playing a tad injured but it would depend on the severity and level of his turf toe. From what I understand there are 3 levels or grades of turf toe injuries. If we knew which level he was at then we likely would get closer to understanding if in fact he is injured and to what degree.
