Look, here's the truth about JuJu. He can be an excellent #2 WR if he is playing on a team with a true #1 like AB was in his prime. However, he's not really that focused (see his obsession with social media) on football.

He doesn't live and breathe the game and because of that he'll likely never become a true WR1. He can be a very good WR2 though.

He will likely be overpaid by a lower tier team where he will have some middling years 600-800 yards 5-8 TDs before fading into obscurity.

He was already a star receiver for 6 years before Jones came into the league.

And JuJu still put up more yards in a single season than he ever did.

    Try again.

The point is he hasn't put up those numbers without Brown. That was the case even when Roethlisberger was back and playing well the first half of this season. He is a good player, but not a great one.

No, FA pretends that what JuJu did is no big deal, it’s easy.

It’s not. Regardless of who is on the other side, JuJu had an unmatched first 3 seasons to his rookie career.

I'm not that interested in what he posts. I'm just stating my point, which is that Smith-Schuster can't put up big numbers without a No. 1 receiver on the other side. I know Roethlisberger is a mess now, but he wasn't the first half of the season. The Steelers were throwing the ball all over the place and doing it well and Smith-Schuster still wasn't even close to his production from those first three seasons.

JuJu was trending in the right direction heading into the Dallas game, he even had 93 yards and a TD in that one. In all, including the 2 games before the Dallas game and the Cincy game after, JuJu had 322 yards and 2 TD’s.

Who’s to say what his numbers would have been the rest of the season had Ben not gotten hurt. His game has been clearly off since then.

You said who put up numbers. Not all the extra curricular stuff you mentioning now. All I know is everyone told me boo boo could replace AB and wasn’t just good because of all the attention AB demanded. Had the best 6 year stretch in nfl history. Players ranked him as the best player who wasn’t a qb in the entire nfl. Boo boo has been garbage for 2 years and the excuse last ye was no Ben well he has Ben and still is no good.

I can give you plenty of receivers this year that have done much better in a game than 93 and a td lol..

I like JuJu more now than I did when he played next up AB.

I give him a middle offer.. nothing more... he is not playing like a top WR.. so his money shouldn't be either.

But I would also float the idea that his brand will take a hit moving to a new city... you seen Lev Bells brand..ABs brand?

But if he leaves he leaves.

I say the same thing to Connern and Al... here is what we can offer.. if you want to stayb or not is up to you.. but we will be acquiring more players at your position

Great, nothing to do with the point :thumbs up:

You do know that Dhop and Julio don’t break a 100 yards every game though, right???

You have trouble admitting when you are wrong don’t you. Doubled down when you said the Steelers had bottom of the league talent.

Why don’t you throw out Jerry Rice’ name next time :lolol:

Sanders was in a hard place. They had signed AB and the offer as he stated was pretty low ball. If true it was probably best just to let him walk and respect his talent. We hate to see guys go, but understand you cannot keep them all business is business. If you respect them and keep professional on day they may come back, does not happen often, but ARE did come back.

I feel their are way to many issues to address to even entertain a contract for Juju. Colbert knows how to find receivers.

The kid is immature. His dancing on the logos of other teams. I hope that someone finally grabbed him by the ear and told him to stop the nonsense.

They do lol. Bottom of the league. Ben washed. Conner overrated. No #1 wr though Claypool may develop into 1 if he can improve his route running.

Except both have had competent threats beside them, you already named one :lolol:

You move the goal posts a lot, too. It’s cute.

It’s good you can announce to the board you have no credibility.

Especially after I showed you where they rank

What competent threat was beside dhop in Houston lol? And roddy white retired in what 2017? Julio has balled out after that lol. I just brought him up because you said who beside julio put up numbers and roddy white did.

Blast: You're defending Juju a lot here, do you want to resign him? How much you willing to spent to keep him? Franchise him?

I think Juju can be a useful piece, but I'm happier to build around DJ and Claypool, and let someone else pay for the clown show.

I'd like to see JuJu in a Steeler uniform next year without the sideshow. A little Cowher spit in his face would get him consideration as a top 50 player in the league with the right qb.

AB, I'd like him to concentrate on going out as one of the best wrs ever. Buisness brand building just showcases his limit on talent.

Multiple posters seem to do this. One other particularly comes to mind.
