no but you can get two of them. i am sorry but te is not a high priority in my opinion. the way beachum is playing and with some getting healthy ol may not be to bad. we can get a starter at cb if we are smart

You're kidding right? Has everything to do with it, you think he just lost his ability to catch from last season to this season? You don't find that the least bit coincidental with his injury? It means he is thinking about his knee, it means he may not be attacking the ball the same way he has in the past due to physical limitations his leg may be putting on him.

And how does Heath not fit into being a redzone threat?

no im not. if hes worried about his knee than he shouldnt be playing.

i dont think he has done anything since returning that Paulson couldnt be doing. Paulson could have dropped 2 tds passes just as easily.

see this is turning into me bashing a guy that i love. thats not what i wanted to do. why its not obvious to every Steeler fan that Miller isnt producing is amazing to me.

his knee has nothing to do with him catching the ball. if hes playing scared than he shouldnt be out there. a ball that hits him in the hand should be caught whether hes thinking of his knee or not.

he has become a dump off type of receiver and not a major threat.

OMG, Paulson sucks! Shouldn't even be on the roster. So you're telling me that Heaths 33 receptions for 341 yards and averaging a first down with every catch hasn't been helpful to this team???? You haven't seen a difference in this team since he has gotten back on the field????

Man you are on an island by yourself on this topic, not only is Heath producing but his blocking has been a boost too, something by the way Paulson cant do to save his life.

I'll take that kind of production, bum knee and all every day, he's only going to get better. So he dropped a couple of passes, big deal, and it wasn't even like the one pass was an easy TD.

Let me try and help you here.
This is my opinion. Heath is not at all playing scared, but is more than likely doing everything his knee will allow at this time. What BF said has some merit as far as his knee impacting his ability to catch the ball as he may not be able to make his cuts and accelerate as good as he would like thus he may be making more circus catches than he should be.
Heath at 80% is better than any other TE we have on the roster at this time and I think he's slowly getting better.
Do we need to think about Heath's replacement ? Sure, but we have other needs with early pics in the draft and I think Heath still has 3-4 productive years left. A second pass catching TE wouldn't be a bad thing though and I think short term Spaeth can fill that roll.

Based on your posts and your comments about others not wanting change you're coming off as you want Heath replaced or benched, may not be the case, but that's the way I'm reading it.
Last thing: If you start a thread asking a question don't get all Butt Hurt if everyone doesn't agree with you.
Again this is just my opinion.

I just hope that Heath wants to return next year and is willing to redo his contract to make that happen. We all saw how the offense got better when Heath initally came back, so IMO we do need draft a TE in the mid-rounds and hopefully Heath will be back to train him.
