Heath says his rehab is going well. He says his routine consists of running around, lifting weights, and trying to get stronger.

When asked if he's able to run hard, he replies, "Hard enough". He goes on to say it's too far away to speculate if he'll play the first game. It's a long process and too early to tell, because you never know how your body will respond.

He says he's been able to do everything he's been asked to do in PT, and that doctors are pleased with his recovery.

If you've forgotten how humble and down to earth Heath is...watching the interview will refresh your memory. :-D

    Thanks for the link Towel.
I had already read the same words he said, but there is a difference, when you see, and hear him saying those things.
For one, just his patience with the reporters that try to goad him into making predictions, or giving him loaded questions, about the "loss of former teammates", etc...
I would be ready to rip their head off, and he handles it with such style, and class... He is just so softspoken, but you know, from watching him play, how determined he is...
He is not gonna get sucked into the trap of "making a soundbite", but he still answers their questions honestly...
What a class act, and a tribute to the STEELER FAMILY!!!!
I know he will be back on the field as soon as humanly possible, and if that isn`t by game one of the regular season, it`s gonna bother him, more than his biggest fan, here!
The dude just represents everything the Steelers are about, to the hilt!!!
Can`t wait to see him continue the success he was having last year!
I`ve always been of the opinion he was underused... Now, it`s his time to shine! And I am sure he will be back on the field to do just that, ASAP!!!!
