Isn't that enough? Harris and Freiermuth might be okay, but I have a bad feeling that they will be without Heyward and Johnson for a while.

Soft tissue injuries are always tough to deal with. I said in the game thread that I'm more concerned with the injuries. Not the end of the world to lose a non-conference game.

Leal came back and Benton filled in nicely. Robinson and Austin also played well after DJ left. I wouldn’t rush Heyward and DJ back

I’m sure as hell not wishing for more. Just want to know. Losing cam and dj would suck, but Austin was actually reasonably effective on the outside

Hopefully DJ’s hammy is just a grade 1. Be back in a couple weeks if thats the case.

    More concerned with Heyward’s injury.

I feel the same way. Heyward would be a devastating loss for that defense. The same is true of Johnson for the offense.

    Here we go again with
    Strength and Conditioning Coach.
It appeared they came out lamed from the start
    Tomlin and his tough practices
It takes 4 players just to peel 1 player off the weight bench because
THAT DUCT TAPE IS A BEATCH

The team had a spate of soft tissue and other minor injuries early last year as well, may be pure coincidence or may be S & C related.

One injury nobody is talking about is KFP ego. Man he was injured big time but he is going to be fine. It was just a bruise.

I didn't care for the way he had his head down after the second interception. That one really seemed to get to him. He seemed fine in the post-game interview, even writing that one off as needing to try to push the ball down field in that situation, but he's going to have to shake this one off and play a hell of a lot better.

Yeah he looked quite down on himself I thought. He knows it's not acceptable. Watt is the consummate pro saying all the right things. He actually sounded alot like Tomlin :)
