You think this is something they could talk about after the season?

It just seems like there's more injuries and with the salaries of these guys still counting against the current year cap. It really doesn't make sense to restrict a team if the injuries mount to the point that they can't sign any replacements and runn the current guys into the ground.

A sensible approach would be to discount the salaries based on verified surgeries (etc.).

That would allow the player to receive his benifits and the team to find suitable replacements for the current year.

 

I really think they need to get rid of all the restrictions on practicing. It is ruining the game and IMO leading to many more injuries.
