I'm proud of this team

Didn't the Pats go 11-5 with Matt Cassel and miss the playoffs? Or did I completely make that up? I swear I remember it that way but as the game is about to start and I'm also cooking, I don't care to look it up right now

 

They went 11-5 with Cassell after Brady got injured

Many of my Pats fans insist we don't make the SB that year had Brady not been injured.

 

I've been proud of this team many times over the last 17 years and this year is no exception. Everytime they've scraped and fought for that playoff berth that could have been secured earlier in the season if not for dropping some gimme games and fighting hard to keep a team above .500 for 17 straight season despite being poorly prepared via inept coaching means the players do have heart.
