    Right.

And sticking with Trubisky for two plus games while he played like smashed sh!t is unconscionable.

I can't think of one year any team won 10 games, and went 5-1 in their own division, and didn't get in. If someone else can.... please tell Me. I bet my next check that if I told most on the board we go 10-7, and 5-1 in the division... would they take that.....they would.

And to think you had some Steelers fans who didn't want the team to make the playoffs, just because they think the team is going to get blown out.

    Since 2000?! Zero.

Couldn't find anything since the AFL-NFL Merger in 1970 either. Likely none either.

Proud that this team got to 10 wins?! Agreed.

Proud in which the manner this season played out?! Not really but no form of crazy is ever planned in the NFL; doubly so for any Tomlin led team.'

Proud of our Draft Class?! Oh most definitely!! :herewego:

I was looking at this yesterday. If we had not made the playoffs, we would have had the best record of any team to not make it and probably would have been a game ahead of a team or two that did make it.

Not bad for a second-year quarterback to lead a team to that kind of record in maybe the strongest division in NFL history. They also had a backup quarterback that lost a couple starts.

Oh, that's right. I forgot that he's a bum that gets treated like he spits on babies by a large portion of the fanbase. Giving any credit at all to him makes some get rageful.

Proud of Mason Rudolph for keeping his head down, grinding day after day, continuing to work to get better at his trade, keeping a good attitude, being a good teammate and finally getting his long overdue opportunity and delivering the goods once he had that chance!!!

The fact that he is still on an NFL Team, never mind the Steelers, is what really should be discussed here. Again, who knows what will happen tomorrow. That said, should Mason be able to pull this off somehow, someway.... I honestly don't see how that would not start a QB Controversy discussion in Pittsburgh.

The 2008 Patriots went 11-5 and 4-2 in division.
In the 70's, Miami twice finished 10-4 and 6-2 in division and missed the playoffs.

They squeaked in. They had an easy path getting here but lost 3 in a row two of the them which only has 2 wins. Then in desperation time Tomlin starts Mason and the tide changed. Without that we are NOT here. Mason put a spark into this offense and then they took off.

So being proud is a stretch to me. But they are here now and have a chance to move forward. They need to win this game period.

“Harrison Family Values.” In James Harrison’s household, there’s no credit given for just showing up. If you want a trophy, you’d better win.

If Mason wins or loses and plays well there will be a lot of suitors for his services. Why would he come back here? Unless Art II opens the checkbook and they say to him he will be in real competition for the starting position he will be good as gone. And really how would he even trust this franchise?

He is going to get paid and i'm sure his agent is salivating.

    He owes this franchise nothing...

After he didn’t get a bite in free agency he said he almost went into real estate. He was that close to calling it quits.

I think his chances of staying here are a lot better than some think. If Pickett starts and struggles again, Rudolph could slide into the starting position for good.

Atlanta and Raiders are other possibilities but I’m sure they will be drafting a QB.

Whatever happens no one is going to sign Mason as a planned starter but if he plays well he probably will be given a contract to at worst compete to be number 2

Here is just as good or better than anywhere else

And I wouldn’t expect him to say bad things but in a recent local News interview he spoke very positively about the Steelers organization
