Here's a song that I originally wrote for my wife. It has lyrics, but she felt like she wanted to keep the lyrics personal/to her self since it was written for her. So I made an instrumental version sort of Satriani style. It was inspired by both "Something" by the Bealtes and "Wonderful Tonight" by Clapton.

Strange, I just tried to play it from a different browser where I'm not logged into soundcloud, and it played OK.

Does it work from google drive?

    Here are a few more.

I wrote this when I was about 14, but didn't actually record it until several years ago.

    Into the Eye of Harmony

A version of Joy to the World with my daughter singing. She's 18 now, but was probably around 12 when we did this. I'm playing both guitars (double tracked with different amps) and bass, and my brother is singing harmony.

And this is me and my brother doing Ain't Talking Bout Love. I'm on guitar and bass, and he's singing all vocals. Years later, I really don't like my guitar tone on this (too brittle for my taste, with too much gain), but it is what it is.

I was actually trying to remember exactly what settings I used on Joy to the World b/c I really like the guitar tone, but it's been so long that I couldn't remember exactly. I apparently saved a file with the setup, and just found that file on my computer. I actually used two different guitars, but the same amp model, but each recording panned left/right, and with chorus on the right channel.

    -HD500X
-Left channel guitar (20% panned) - Ibanez S570DXQM guitar, Dimarzio Norton Bridge Pickup
-POD patch - Marshall Plexi Lead Nrm + TubeScreamer + Plate Reverb
-Right channel guitar (20% panned) - Charvel Jackson Model 2 guitar, Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon Bridge Pickup
-POD patch - Marshall Plexi Lead Nrm + TubeScreamer + Analog Chorus + Plate Reverb
-Bass simulation - Ibanez S570QXDM guitar, Dimarzio Paf Joe Neck pickup
-POD patch - Flip Top Bass Amp + Bass Octaver
-Drum Track - royalty free drum track download @ 160 BPM

So my son has now been playing drums for about 3 weeks.

We started working on Sweating Bullets and decided to record a little bit during the Bengals/Ravens game.

Your stage presence sucks! Just playin'. Well done! Always wanted either of my boys to play an instrument so we could be the next Partridge Family but no dice!

That was my "living room during football game" presence. My stage presence is way more presency than that.
