If there are any Survivorman fans here...

Just wanted to let everyone know that Les Stroud is making new Survivorman episodes again. He is really awesome and Survivorman is one of my favorite shows ever. I hate Man vs Wild and apparently he does too because he has dogged on it multiple times in this new season. I think he has made 3 new eps so far. So just a heads up that if you want to set your dvr to record them they are available.

 

Les is the man, unlike the urine drinker.

 

Yeah Bear actually got busted faking things on his show. SHOCKER! Apparently all those "rafts" that he "built" weren't actually built on the spot. Also he would make it look like he was roughing it and then got busted checking in to 5 Star hotels. That is why they put a disclaimer at the first of the show. On a couple of the new eps Les has said "I could eat this fish raw but I don't want to do things just because they look fancy on tv" and "Survival is about more than just building fancy treehouses". LOL! He has been to Grenada, Frigate Island, and a jungle rainforest so far. I think the Amazon ep might be my favorite ever when he gets chased by that jaguar.

 

My favorite thing about the show is how he always builds fires by using all these mad scientist ways like putting chocolate on a coke can and then letting it sit in the sun and burn the little blades of dead grass he had in front of it. Also in Africa when he made a FLAMETHROWER from a hot air balloon was pretty dang sweet too!

 

He also squeezes water out of elephant poop. I'll just leave it at that.

He's like a cross between Les Stroud and Steve-O or Johnny Knoxville. That's what I've always said about him. Pure shock value and nothing more.
