I would like to see inspired football!

I am not even concerned with the wins at this point, I picked the Steelers to go 9 and 7.How wrong was that? I will be happy at this point to see inspired, well played football at this point.There has to be a pride factor in all of this, isn't there? Wouldn't you get tired of getting your ass beat?

Shouldnt be too much to ask right? Seeing the Beard on FB say they need to be ready to play as soon as the anthemn is done was not very encouraging!

 

Maybe we should just try playing some football first, work our way up to! Start with indifferent, go to mildly interested, to distractedly attentive, on to confused, work towards being there physically but not mentally, a giant leap into taking up space, moving into occupying space, purposely moving in the same direction, taking the ball with us when we move, lining up with a grimice on our face, getting over the speed bump of making contact and, finally, unleashing he...nevermind!

 

I feel like they should just put a couple big balls of yarn on the sideline.... so the disinterested players can be like cats and play with yarn until they find something else more interesting.

 

Bubble wrap would be better!
