Feels like just yesterday I was watching the Steelers play, and I get to watch them again tonight. I love the short turnaround.

After today it will feel like an eternity until they play again though

Me too. :-D Last night I watched the replay of the Eagles game on NFLN, then switched to SB43 on ESPN2 when that was over. Afterwards I thought- this is sweet, I get to watch them tomorrow night on TV, too. :rawk:

I didn't watch the replay of the Eagles game. The Steelers won but gosh that was frustrating to watch last Sunday.

I love watching other games, so I love Sunday's whether the Steelers play or not, but the rest of the week will feel extra long.

I just hate prime time games. I always get worked up if it's close game, hopefully it will be decided by the middle of the 3rd quarter so I get my nerves calmed down before I go to sleep.

And yes, go STEELERS! I so hope we get to see them blow a team out for a change! :herewego:

    Nope. :D

I used to be when I was a kid and into my late teens, but I haven't watched in years. I once bought a fitted Yankees hat in Fenway Park, and turned some rowdy Red Sox fans into buddies by the end of the game. So, I feel your NY love. :)

LOL yeah, at least they used to 20ish years ago. It was probably hanging there for ten years, covering up a bullet hole in the wall, and the shop manager couldn't believe his luck when someone was actually stupid enough to buy it in Boston. Come to think of it, I was wondering all that day who in my group wreaked of urine. :o

    :lolol:

I went to a Yankees game at the old Yankee stadium. I'm a Jays fan and went decked out in my Jays gear. I went to a local Yankees sports bar and heads immediately turned as soon as I walked in. I was the only one in the entire bar not wearing Yankees gear, and that includes the employees. Within minutes though everyone was offering to buy me drinks because I was "ballsy" to come into a Yankees bar with another teams jersey. I asked what would happen if I was wearing a Sox jersey, and I was told they would buy me a drink and smash it over my head. lol

All in all, I think they were mostly joking. Everyone was pretty friendly.

I am loving the playoff baseball right now. Quadruple header? Are you kidding me? Love it.

And I don't mind the Steelers not playing on Sunday as I really get to focus on some other great games.

    Bring on the Titans!

Kids in bed by 8?............Seriously. In my house, my son would be back awake by 8:21 with the Steelers playing. Nobody sleeps! As usual though, the wife will tell me to turn it down after 10 but slowly the volume keeps amping for some unexplainable reason.

Seriously? Must have been a slow day for opposing fans. I go to a ton of games and always see the other teams colors, on the streets, in the bars, in the Stadium, all over. I don't mind unless during the game they start taunting Yankee fans if their team is winning or just hit a HR or something. Come root for your team but don't be a dick about it.

I sure hope the Steelers do better tonight than all you Red fans did today. So much for sweeping on the road and then having that glorious "home field advantage". Even though I'm still a die-hard Pirates fan after being removed from the Burgh for 47 years I was shocked with the Red's colossal choke. I thought they were the best team in baseball this year with excellent momentum.

Now 2 hours and 15 minutes till kickoff.

Gotta put this loss on Dusty...Let Latos in 2 hitters to long and can you tell me why you are hitting and running with 2 on no outs and why does Hanigan take that pitch? This series should have been a 3 game sweep!!!! :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:

    AAARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!

Well HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!!! :towel: :herewego:
