    This team is close.

They can do it, but they do need to improve their defense. Bring back Ben, bring back Bell and this team has a shot .

ILB was the difference down the road. And Gay can't get it done any longer.

Who cares... as long as we've got Tomlin/Haley/Butler and Belechick is in NE what does it matter

This team has been close for the last 3 years. Enough is enough. Retire already there's no point in delaying the inevitable.

Ben had 5 touchdowns. 2 of those touchdowns came on 4th down play. Yes he had an interception in the 1st quarter, and a fumble, which the Jaguars recovered for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter, but in the 3rd and 4th quarter Ben played great. Mike Tomlin's coaching decisions and the Steelers defense was suspect. It felt like every time the Steelers offense scored a touchdown, the defense allowed the Jaguars to get a touchdown right back. Ben kept the Steelers in the game. But unfortunately the defense could not do their part. Ben should come back next season. The defense needs HELP. I am very pissed off.

This is not the way Ben needs to go out on. 5 TD's with incredible precision and a Defense that couldn't stop a turtle from crossing a highway and a coaching staff that would be arguing the direction.

Who is your team? Because I’m not so sure it is the Steelers

And that's why it's pointless for Ben to come back if everything else remains the same.

Uh yes I'm not a true fan because I'm not delusional. I'm sorry folks we'll get em next year. They'll figure it out next year! History and logic be damned.

Ben may have a lot to say with the future of the Steelers and may use that leverage if they want him to play next year.
That leverage should include choice of new OC.
This game could have convinced him to retire.

Why bother? This team isn't winning anything. The sooner Landry takes over, the sooner we can get rid of our cheerleader with a headset

Yeah on those 4-1 guess Ben don't have the guts to try a sneak or run for it.

    It's certainly possible.

I think it could partly come down to his practice time. Read an article about Ben practicing on Wednesday of the bye week when he usually sits out. Yeah he's a vet, but If that's true, I think he should be practing more throughout the week. It's not just for him but for all the receivers.

His start to the season was rough but how much of that was building chemistry that should have been there before the bye.

If I was Ben, I would tell Rooney that the only way that I come back is that I get to call ALL plays on offensive. Haley can stay only in case of an injury for the back-ups.

Ben had an amazing game. Enjoy the greatness of Ben while you can. We might not see a qb like him in a VERY long time.
