I Don't Know What To Think About....

I really don't know what to think about so called Steelers fans that not only pick against us, because they just know we are going to lose, and then complain when we win???

 

win is a win and I'll take an exciting finish any day - Vikings were favored too.

 

I like how they complain about not going for it on the 4th down to ice the game, but if we would have went and not gotten it, fumbled it or whatever, they would have said we shouldn’t have went for it.

we are 3-1. Geesh enjoy it.

 

Sorry bro. Steelers defense was one of the worst in the NFL and Vikes were like top 5. Wentz had a good game last week, and our offense was not exactly rolling. It's not a beauty contest with pompoms. This was a statement effort though, for the most part.

 

I was very happy the way they played in the first 50 minutes....Total domination

Just not happy with the fourth down and goal call (it was the right decision to go in that situation, but the playcall was awful) and the blown coverage afterward.

But overall, it was a very good game and a very good win.

 

Either way some people would complain .. You are so right. Nice win. Just going to enjoy the day and if I come here throughout the day I only want to read positive comments. The band wagon fans or those who lack faith can stick it.

 

I never pick the Steelers to lose.. but I think Tomlin is a poor coach and should have e been fired at the very least 6 years ago

 

Mike Tomlin is one of the luckiest people in sports. He’s apart of football royalty that some how loves him unconditionally and somehow is able to do just enough to keep him relevant. He is an atrocious coach. And he’s getting worse every year.

 

I am happy with the win and think there are a lot of bright spots to celebrate.

Having said that, I don’t love that we were up 24-6 with 4 minutes left and then we found ourselves hanging on in a final drive that could have tied the game.

 

The whole internet now seems like nothing but doomers. Some people really need to leave their Mom's basement once in a while

 

I think my struggle is - you either kick the field goal or throw it on 4th down.

You either go full send or kick the field goal.

 

Steelers blew a 3 score lead. Hell yes I'm gonna complain.

 

They probably bet money against us

 

For me, it’s not complaining about a win, I’m happy we are 3-1.

I also think we can simultaneously acknowledge there were some issues that need to be addressed.

Both statements can be true.

Was Waitman instructed to punt that ball out of the stadium? No reason to just give them the ball at the 20. He surely could have angled it around the 10 with little trouble or fear of a block or return.

 

Best game they've played this season IMO. Against a quality opponent. Brain fart late game obviously. I'm waiting to see how the OL does against
Myles and Co. Injuries be damned. Maybe communication is improving with the new parts?

 

Perhaps you should learn how to differentiate between a screen pass and a checkdown before trying to play general manager

 

Some don't love him, and wouldn't bat an eye if they let him go, but some of us don't have to make ups stuff. Consistency is the word. The freaking haters aren't consistent. One minute they hate him for this, and then when that's not there ,they hate him for the exact opposite reasons. LoL And if that's not there they make up $hit.
I promise if they fired him tomorrow I wouldn't flinch, but root for the next guy. I just believe in Consistency, and fair judgment.

I totally agree. Letting Rodgers talk him out of the Field goal was stupid

 

You picked them to lose. Why complain when we win. Matter of fact You have picked us to lose every game we have won.

 

I wondered about that at the time too. He booted it deep enough that it had to be by design. The Steelers prevent defense strategy kind of points to it being on purpose. Let them start at the 20 rather than risking a deep run back.
