how you win, just win. Ugly win today but i'll take it. Sometimes its slumpbusters like the Browns that propel your team. Here is to next week

Well here is the thing it was an ugly win for the offense I think the Defense came to play, no?

yup, we got a road win vs the worst team and our defense came to play, no injuries.

Took the win injury free and build on that.

Like I said in another thread maybe this is the game our defense needed to build off. I like the way Tuitt was all over the field and Hargrave got a good push. Shazier and Timmons were very good today and even Moats had a good game. I know it is the clowns but still we have been tore up by just about everyone this season.

It is what it is. A win against a very bad Cleveland Browns team. Better than a loss against a very bad Cleveland Browns team.

Kinda how I feel about it:

Honestly, this game shouldn't have been even close. Should have been over by halftime. I'll take the win but the Browns really shouldn't be in the NFL this year. They should actually change the rules so that they can play with about 16 people on both offense and defense. They are that bad.

The Browns never had a lead in this game. We control the game. We won. Just think with Tomlin's record versus bad teams we did good.
    Be happy!

You are right! I'm proud of Tomlin, he beat the winless Browns :)

I'm indifferent about this " win". Beating a pee wee team isn't much of an accomplishment. Facing the Colts, Giants next will be huge tests.

Steelers play like they did today vs. Colts on Thursday... it will be a loss. The Browns can't get out of their own way... and the Steelers D gets stupid penalties on 3rd and long. The offense went into it's typical turtle mode in the 2nd half.

Until the Steelers play to their potential... there is only pain, agony and despair. However... a Patriots loss to the 49ers would brighten my mood.

Beating the WINLESS Browns (they've lost like 3000 games in a row) is nothing to be proud of imho

Lol 4 game losing streak broken AND we were so close from beating the best NFL team. Dallas can be beaten. Imo all teams look beatable at times.

The defense looked like Blitzburgh of old. Sacks and interceptions to boot.

The offense stuttered, and lacking 3 WRs (Bryant, Wheaton, Bey) is showing, as is Green's slow start.

It was a necessary win, and it's something to build off going forward.

And this is why anything can happen if we get in. We laid some eggs last season, yet we were leading the eventual champs in their house in the 4th quarter despite being decimated by injuries.

I'll just take the wins at face value for now and see what happens. I don't think we're very good at the moment, but we can play great at times, and that always gives us a chance until we're done mathematically.

A win is a win. The D played better. The biggest problem as alluded to by the previous poster is at WR. Too many missing bodies.

Here's something. That sack output puts them at a tie for 16th with NE.

They only sacked Cleveland 2 times, but today they had 5 against the 49ers......

He had some catches last week. Still getting into football shape. Could help contribute to a resurgence down the stretch

He doesn't look strong on the ball. Looks like he's getting pushed around by DB's. Not a good look for a TE.
