    First off I would like to wish Steeler Nation a Merry Christmas.

    now the hypothetical part. I'm just throwing this out there. I myself know it most likely will never happen,but....

    How would you guys feel or what do you feel the possibilities of if and when we release Woodley and or sign Worilds or whatever we do that leads to one of them not returning. What are the chances that we try to bring The Silver-back? He's playing out of position in Cincy and I don't think they are planning on bringing him back. We all saw the emotion he displayed when talking about Coach Dad. If Lebeau does return it very well may be his last hurrah and I think James would love to go out under Lebeaus watch. I think we can squeeze one more year out of James and I'm sure he would love to go out with a bang!

    Happy Holidays!:steelflag::steelflag:

    I don't think there is a chance we do that. I hope we don't do that. I'm tired of cutting ties with players just to bring them back a year later. Let's move on.

    Oh, and Merry Christmas to you too.

    While I happen to agree with you somewhat. If we lose Worilds and Woodley goes down again,which is very likely, we have nothing behind them. Unless JJ improves by leaps and bounds next year, the cupboard is bare. SS and Carter are not the answer and hopefully won't even be back. A side note the Colts signed Alan Baxter to their practice squad,who is a guy to me who showed more promise then the aforementioned combined. I'm not saying it's the best case scenario for us but we have to go somewhere for depth and or address the position early again in the draft. As you well know this team and defense is built on the strength of our OLBs and right now I don't see it as one.

    I don't think Harrison will be in the NFL next season. Belichick might give him a shot but not many other coaches.

    Harrison is done no thanks we have enough old washed up players. There ain't no time for sentiment screw Harrison he had his chance to stay and left.

    Didn't Harrirson sign a two yr deal with Cincy? I could be wrong, but that's my recollection. Cincy may opt to let him go, but I suspect they'll bring him into camp first, as he's not a big dollar guy now.

    But the Steelers need to get younger on D, not older. No point in bringing jH back.

    yes but he can be cut before march 1 (i think he has some bonus) , if we get rid of woodley and harrison is still around in june maybe he could be an option at vet min to teach jj

    Nope. We need our younger guys to contribute more, not less. He'd just take snaps away from someone who could be something.

    If we lose Worilds or Woodley ,who are these young guys everyone is talking about cause SS and Carter are definitely not the answer and we seem to get rid of the guys who could be something.

    Thats all Im trying to say,that it could be a option. Is it better than some young ,faster stud coming in....no. But where are we getting this guy? Unless we choose one high in the draft..
