Against the Dolphins blitz? They blitz more than any other team in the nfl.

I suspect he will have a less than stellar game. Our offensive line will have to play very well to give him the chance to throw the ball. I am not confident he will have a good game. He wasn't playing that well before he got injured and was replaced with Trub. So we will see.

Oline play is a big part of dealing with a team that blitzes a lot, but play calling is a huge component of it too…. And I don’t have any confidence that Canada can put together a solid game plan or make any necessary adjustments. I hope he can prove me wrong.

I’m as big a KP fan as you can find here. However, I’m of the mind that Trubisky should be playing in this game. Give Pickett another week after coming off a concussion. Not to mention Mitch was literally throwing dimes in last weeks game.

Does it really hurt to stay with the hot hand if only for one more game ?

This is where Ben to AB quick slants paid huge dividends (and Holmes before that and Ward and El before that). Who is that guy now with soft hands and speed?

Being completely honest....I don't think I've watched a whole Dolphins game this year. Where did You come up with this information (not doubting You ) ....from watching, or what???

Facing the Dolphins blitz and then next week the Eagles will have Kenny looking forward to the bye week. I just hope that he doesn't get injured and have his rookie season end before it really got started.

The Steelers really we're fortunate on the 45 yard pass to Conner Heyward. The Bucs not only jumped offside but were caught scrambling players on and off because they had too many men on the field. Half of their defense was confused on the play but to Trubisky and Heyward's credit they continued with the play and it ended up being a gigantic play in the victory.

    That's a tough question.

He needs to play much better then last week before the headache.

First, Moore will need constant help. The O Line can't be sloppy and keep it penalty free except if someone is going to crush Pickett.

O'Canada best have Pickett fire that ball out quick, move the chains and then hopefully the blitzing should lessen and then they can get some positive runs.

This run on 1st and 2nd down crap and hope on 3rd and whatever your going to get a first down can't be a steady diet especially with a blitz happy team.

I'm glad they are going back to Pickett. He needs to take a step forward.

I hope they star Mitch, more experience but Canada can’t keep him with the dink and dunk. Get him off the leash and let he play. Get from A toB ASAP.

I honestly thought they should have stuck with Mitch, but the team is committed to Pickett which I understand. What I wonder is how long Kenny's leash will be. I just hope Kenny has a solid game.

Really, I thought he had the best 2 QTRs of a Steelers QB this season. I watched the game 3x and felt he was really exceptional. I don’t know, maybe my eyes deceived me or I’m overthinking this.

No, you saw it right. @S.T.D@S.T.D just had some anti Mitch confirmation bias at work watching that game.

I thought that too after what happened in the TB game. I don't think the Steelers want to be a back and forth team at the QB position. I guess he is going to have to take his lumps like any rookie QB. I'm not expecting anything special but I sure the hell hope he shows he can be our guy for many years to come.

It will all depend on OL, and KP able to read the right progressions.
I have no doubt KP will prepare properly. Remember with any rookie QB
mistakes are going to be made. He must learn from these potential mistakes.

That's right. This season is all about the learning process for Pickett. He will probably lose more than he wins but that's OK. The important thing is that next year he will be battled tested and ready to hit the ground running in 2023.

Breakout game…300+ yards passing with 3 TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing). Calling it now.

I'm glad the Steelers aren't going into 100° heat down there like the Bills did, even though 85° is still pretty darn hot for football.
