How long does it take????????

How long does the game have to go on before the coaching staff realizes that our running game is not working against the Ram defense. I think I counted on one hand how many times we ran for significant yardage. We always seem to stop what is working in a game and go backwards.

 

They have to at least have some attempts to keep the defense honest. Throw on every down and the floodgates open plus the non-gaining run still eats clock ... that's a guess though.

 

Vick was playing like garbage. Fumbled when he was hit out of bounds, should have had that one 3rd down pass picked off etc.

Had to run with Ben out.

 

Problem was the Oline was getting beaten so bad on the inside that they couldn't even try to get to the outside because the play was disrupted immediately!

Let's not discount the single back set relying on Bell to beat at least one guy that's in the backfield before the hand-off just to get 2 yards.....

 

My friend, from the 2nd quarter on, Ben had no time to throw either, you will get your QB killed. In all fairness to Mike Vick, he probably hasn't really practiced/got many reps since the preseason. Our OL was dominated, get use to it against good defenses.Lets hope we are really shoring up our run blocking in Ben's absence, we are going to need it.
