Must be error free football, Our defense may have to play out of their minds
Until OL can produce reliable results. Creating turnovers will be important for this defense
This year. TOP will be key also this year. What are your thoughts?

Beat off defenders. Score more points.
    You knew it was coming.

Stop the run and put a ton of pressure on Joe to try to create turnovers.
Bush up the gut. I could see us getting him rattled early and often.
A win in Cincy would be great out the gate

Stop Joe Mixon. Pressure Burrow to no end. Control TOP.

I'm not nearly as worried as most people on here seem to be. Joe Burrow didn't even take 1 single snap in preseason and barely practiced at all. Jesse Bates held out the entire preseason and didn't take 1 snap either. To me they are the most overrated team heading into the season. Sure, they made the SB last season but that is because they were the healthiest team all season long by a long shot. That will be nearly impossible to duplicate. Their Oline is slightly better than ours and their LB's and CB's aren't anything really special either. The biggest weapons they have are Ja'marr Chase and Evan McPherson who is money from 50+ yards out.

I see us winning something like 27-16.

Same way we beat the Bills last year... Going to need a blocked punt TD to win.

Ummmmmm. It's already discarded in a biohazard bag. They removed it so It doesn't matter if it does blow up anyways.

Has to be tons of pressure from the DL. It didnt always work against the Bengals, but it worked when it counted for the Rams.

They will need to have a better first half offense that last year.I don't think they had 60 offensive yards in the first half in Buffalo last year.It was still only 10-0 but it was a ugly win,the story of the 2021 season(brutal first half offense and hope that the game is still close after 3 quarter)

If the bengals win this game,Zack Taylor is going to gave more home win against the steelers in 4 games(3) that Marvin Lewis had in 18 games(2)

Bring the heat on Burrow. A lot of Wattage!

Run the ball effectively and limit their run game. Our weakness needs to be the strength this season to succeed.

when was the last time a Tomlin team did something out of the box? I"m hoping Ben's inability to play like he used to had a lot to do with the struggles last year and we still made the playoffs. That O line though is scary as anything for me. Our D line is aging as well. Bush is worthless in the middle and he'll still get the start. But you're right we need a good game plan and we need to execute that plan. O line and defense are huge question marks for me though. As they say "hope springs eternal in the human chest" So I'm hoping for the best

As some have noted T.O.P is key. keep little Joe off the field as much as possible. That punk gets on a roll he could torch the hell out of our secondary.

Bengals will score 2 TD's for sure. I'm confident Trub and company can match that. This game could come down to a FG and BOZ damn well better not be to weak after a week that new woman.

Time of possession is a very overrated stats.Of course the offense must avoid the 3 and out, short drive and punt and thing like that but if you focus too much on the time of possession over scoring, you will be way too often on 3rd down

Covid or Ruptured appendix might be the key to our victory.

The #1 thing when playing this Bengals offence is to not allow any big plays to Jamar Chase. Burrow is looking for him all the time and he is well capable of a 60 yard + score if he is not shut down.

The Bengals defence is also good and you’d have to fear for Moore facing Hendrickson, he will need a back or TE chipping on most plays.

Even if most things go right it’s a tall order to beat them in Cincinnati tbh, but as others have said Burrow may be quite rusty after his operation and no preseason. That’s probably the Steelers best chance of a result because if that Bengals offence is rolling there aren’t many teams that will live with them.
