This isn't going to play out to well for the fans in Denver, they are a rabid fan base. What is the over and under of Denver coach being replaced
after the season? Sean Payton anyone?

 

Do they even have any draft picks left to give the Saints for Payton? Not sure what they would take

 

Denver ownership isn't afraid to make deals, atleast they weren't in the past?

 

Let's hope Mason does in a package deal to Chicago along with Bush and Claypoole for Roquan.

 

I'm not even sure what Elway's role is on the team anymore, but man they have been a mess ever since he was GM and whatever he is now. I'm not sure Peyton would even agree to go there if he is still running things.

 

Both teams' o-lines were horrid last night. I'm surprised that Ryan survived! Wilson's passes, except for a few, were awful!

 

At this rate, the $245M and draft capital the donkeys gave up for Wilson may go down as the most boneheaded thing the donks have ever done.

Agreed, but they are already gave up 1st and 2nd's for the next 2 years for Russ. I was thinking NO would definitely ask for a first - maybe they get it?

That deal was before new ownership took over, but still...the picks and the guaranteed money. Yikes. He may indeed have game, but he is looking really bad and that's money and picks that set you back years.

 

Not patting My own back(well I guess I am a bit LoL), but I had an argument with @FootballAnalyst98 last year about this....I said I thought (this isn't verbatim) Wilson was good, but people are overlooking the Broncos flaws as a team, and having a new coach .....I said I didn't think Wilson would be enough.

 

I still like Wilson but, I think his line is going to get him hurt!

 

There were comparisons about Peyton start and his..but this is not the same team. The thought of bringing an established QB in for a SB run...Tampa and LA..is you have the pieces in place and you get there. The broncos dont..sent a lot of picks away and guaranteed a lot of money...hardly a way to build.

 

I used to like Wilson, but he’s become more arrogant and disingenuous over time. And the fact that he has an office in the Broncos facility is just….
