Love the pic! And 5-0 just put one up of delicious looking apple turnovers in honor of Mitch.

Here's a pic of Mason Cole being unamused with this thread

yes he has. I watch team after team, game after game. I see yr 1 and yr 2 - BIG strong TE's making impact.

we continue to wallow at this position......

the BACKUP rookie Rams TE was dominant vs. the Ravens on Sunday....

Pat might be better than what he's been able to show. Injuries, having to help an anemic offensive line and piss poor qb play haven't helped either. Still wish they would have taken Humphrey with that pick. We wouldn't have had to see how bad Cole is.

They signed him to a 5 year contract in 2007. They released Okobi. He played and was brutal! They brought in Hartwig in 2008.

He definitely is in the conversation with being one of the worst centers but I still feel that the top slot belongs to Kendrick Green.

His injury earlier in the season doesn’t absolve him of giving up on routes or his terrible blocking

lets hope Cole doesn't adjust too much or there goes the ball over Mitch's head.

Agreed. Even though Freiermuth is a decent player, passing on Humphrey for him was a huge mistake.

The biggest mistake in the 2021 draft was a RB in round 1. That being said, there were zero pro bowl players taken after Harris in round 1 of that draft so it's possible that he was the highest rated 1st round talent left. Even though if they had to take a back in that draft I would have rather have Etienne at the time. Regardless, no RB should have been taken. Trading out of the first and picking up an extra 2nd would have been the better strategy.

If they had an extra 2nd, depending on where it was, they could have had Friermuth AND either Landon Dickerson or Creed Humphrey.

Yeah but that wasn't a real center for any length of time, right.

I think Kahn has a better understanding of modern talent.

I also have said many times I think Rooney had a hand in wanting that big name RB.....like the old days (Bettis, Harris)

I must be having PTSD and blocking out, did Green play an entire season as the center?

Old Merrill calling a spade a spade. Sure doesn't help MT and his
    offensive coaching staff does it?
