Hines Ward ... HOF?

What do you think? Is he the next Steeler to get into the HOF?

Stat sticklers might poo poo him, but I think sometimes it goes beyond stats, especially for a player like Ward. I say yes!

Ole #66 is a nominee nxt year, ..Let's go Red...... I think he gets in b4 Ward does.. not even sure Ward will make it. I hope he does but im not sure..

 

I agree that Fanneca should definitely be there. I hope Hines gets in. He took all the records of two previous Hall of Famers and also has a Super Bowl MVP to his name and another ring to boot. Maybe if he didn't do enough as a WR his linebacker play will be enough to get him in. LOL. I mean he did level dudes like a backer.

 

I'm probably a little biased in my belief that he should go in to the HOF, but wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't.

 

Greene would be my vote, but they don't let me vote.

Hines will eventually get in, but he'll have to wait for a while.

 

Yeah I agree he gets but it takes home a while. The thing he does have going for him is he changed the way the game was played

 

Or special teams play in the ProBowl when he ran an onside kick back for a TD

 

Hines should be a first ballot HOFer. He was not one of the top WRs of all time but he was most definitely one of the TOP FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF ALL TIME!!! I'd go so far to say that he was the best FOOTBALL PLAYER to ever play WIDE RECEIVER in NFL HISTORY!!!

You guys understand what I'm trying to say, right?

 

Definitely to me the best Steelers Receiver Ever. I may be biased because I never saw Swann Stallworth, and I grew up during the Cowher years.

I bet you if they had a stat for 3rd down conversion catches he would have more than anyone in NFL history. Seriously.

 

I think he will definitely get in eventually. Very similar stats to Andre Reed yet Ward played two less years than Reed. Reed finally got in last year after 8 years of eligibility. If Ward has to wait 8 years...then it will be because he is a Steeler and some say too many Steelers are in HOF already....and that's ridiculous. Ward is better than Reed in my opinion. No WR has ever blocked better than Ward....that should count for something. Ward has also won 2 Superbowls and was MVP of one of them. He also is one of only 8 to have 1000+ catches. If Reed is in...Ward will be in...just might take a while.

 

all steelers should get in.
