Last week when asked about Tim Tebow, Terrell Suggs said "Tim Tebow can have his God, we don't need him on our sideline!" Hey Terrell, Sure looks like it would have been nice to have God on your sideline for that 32-yard Field Goal. Or, how about that game winning TD reception dropped in the endzone?

he DID do a nice job of slamming skip bayless this morning though. skip was trying to bait suggs into complaining about the officiating and suggs told him to start being an analyst and stop being a "douchebag."

    props to t-suggs for that.

With all the trouble in the world do people really think God is concerned with football?

I don't know why people aren't accurate when referring to other players' comments...ok, I guess I do, but it seems really petty when we don't give the whole story. I was actually listening to Suggs on Rome when he made the comments, and had to clarify for people who had paraphrased what he said. He said that they don't need Got to step in and pray for a miracle to win a game because their QB has the ability to play the position. And he went on to say that they have lots of guys that are God-fearing and pray on the sides as well(including himself), but not for their QB not to make mistakes and have all of these miracles in the 4th qtr. Now I paraphrased as well, but that is actually what he said in a condensed form.
The way the OP stated his comments made it seem like he was saying something totally different.

Even paraphrasing that way, He was praying for a miracle to win the AFCC game in the 4th quarter.
