I also noticed "the standard". I guess that one is always on standby. I did think he looked rather fired up though. I just hope he takes that to the team and not just to the media.

i didnt see/hear the presser .. let me guess it went something like this... we are a "work in progress" ... we lost 3 guys for the season but plugged another guy into the system sicne "the standard is the standard".. doesnt matter who is "suited up at the time" the "standard never changes' .... i did seee a few good things.. i think of lot of the guys on D "represented themselves well".... it was a team loss and "this one is on me"... "i take responsibility for this one'. same old BS jsut said over and over in a differnt order... id rather got deaf and blind then listen or watch more of his press confs.

My favorite part: Are you comfortable with Beachum at center moving forward? " I’d have to look at the tape. Obviously, he did an admirable job under the circumstances, but tomorrow is a new day. It’s the top of the week. We’ll make the best decisions for us, globally speaking."

    "Globally speaking"Hahahaha

Actually, he's used the "nobody cares about our problems, they're glad we've got 'em" cliche before, so it's not a new one.

    I was chewing on "globally".

    glob·al

(gl[IMG][IMG]b[IMG]l)adj.1. Having the shape of a globe; spherical.
    2. Of, relating to, or involving the entire earth; worldwide: global war; global monetary policies.
    3. Comprehensive; total: "a . . . global, generalized sense of loss" (Maggie Scarf).
    4. Computer Science Of or relating to an entire program, document, or file.

I think Maggie hit it on the head there...
