Only down 3 with the ball and driving late in the game.

I know we need the Ravens to lose but.........There's not a team in any sport in any country that I hate more than SD so, I'm okay with Bmore winning.

The Chargers gave up 29 yards on a 4th and 29 and the Ravens tie it up.

I can't even believe that happened. When the other team needs 29 yards it should be pretty damn easy to defend. What a joke SD is. The fact that they may win now kind of sums up this season for us though

That was a huge kick. Could we see another tie?

Hopefully, it's game, set and match on all the talk here in SD about building this pack of losers a new stadium. With tax-payer money. When they move to L.A., I'll be the first in line to help them pack!

I like them too but I'm too young for those days. I liked Seau and Natrone Means. One of my best friends from when I was little was becoming a Chargers fan at the same time I was becoming a Steelers fan. 1994 or 1995. Something like that. We used to play football in his yard and he would pretend to be Seau and I would pretend to be Kordell Stewart. Ahhh the good ole days when we were 12 years old....

I've been through all those days. Back to 1969 when my dad first got season tickets. The Chargers had just drafted Bob Babich who became, not only my favorite player, but my friend. When we played sand lot football, I was always Babich! 3 years later, the team traded Bob to the Browns, of all teams! After that, I started looking very hard at an organization that not only would trade a former 1st round pick but also the (at the time) greatest reciever ever. Lance Alworth. A team, whose doctors got their players addicted to pain killers. A team who brought in Unitas WAY past his prime so they could try to sell tickets instead of getting someone young and good. Looking at all that, in the early 70s, I came to the same conclusion as Archie Manning. I don't begrudge anyone liking the Chokers, I just don't understand how long time San Diegans can.

Man I hate the Dolphins but I like Csonka a lot. But when I was a kid I loved Joe Montana and John Elway and I despised Dan Marino. I STILL don't like Dan Marino and I STILL hate the Dolphins. I think the ONLY player in my life that I've liked who played for them was Zach Thomas. I get so sick of seeing the 72 team hold up their glass every year. Do you kinda like the Fins since you seen them play in their hey day Myron? I still like the 9ers because I saw them at their greatest.

I have no feelings for the Fins one way or the other. I guess the point I was trying to make was that was a great NFL season to live through. What with Francos catch, the undefeted season and Morrall taking over for a injured Griese during game 4 or 5 and than leads them to 9 or 10 wins.Than Griese comes back in relief of Morrall in the game against us and starts in SB VII and wins it. Big chestnuts on Shula pulling Morrall (was not playing bad from what I recall) from the game for Griese than starting Griese in SB.Just saying was the best NFL season I can remember!!

The Giants pulling the rug out from under the Patriots is a close second!! :drinks:

Man the gnats beating the Pats is devastating to me. I'm a giants hating machine dude! That was the biggest fluke in NFL history. I wanted to see an undefeated team so bad and especially one led by Tom Brady because around here there are so many manning worshippers that they all hate Brady so it brings me great joy when Brady does good because then I get to talk so much smack just for fun. LOL. I used to not like it when the Pats would do good with Brady because I liked Drew Bledsoe but finally I just realized that no matter how you cut it Tom Brady is one of, if not THE, best to ever do it. But I think that's the closest we'll ever get to seeing an undefeated team in this era.
