There is a reason why the great ones dont talk. They usually just do.

The Bengals got lucky in the sense that the year they had the No. 1 overall, Burrows was there. The Browns weren't so lucky. They have actually done a nice job building the rest of that roster, better on the line and worse at receiver.

I don't think the refs (or the NFL) wanted Cincy to win today. As a result, the NFL really has 1 meaningful game for week 18 (Raiders - Chargers, which will surely be SNF).

Good luck finding games for Saturday, NFL. Maybe SF-LAR. Beyond that not much. Everything else is for seeding only but makes Sunday games meaningless if the results go the wrong way.

There isn't Saturday or SNF on the final weekend. Chargers/Raiders game is the only AFC Sunday matchup at the 4:25pm time slot. All other AFC teams play at 1pm.

If they couldn't build a team over 5 years with those draft positions then they ****ing blow. Shouldn't go out of your way to give respect to a team that rebuilds by having a **** record and high draft picks as long as they have.

Steelers fans would love to have those picks but we don't have the emotional capacity to withstand those losing seasons.

Without insulting you, check again. Games haven't been announced yet, but there most definitely are 2 games Saturday and 1 game SNF.

I just checked nfl.com and I stand corrected. It shows 2 games on Saturday with teams to be announced. But no mention of SNF

Im not so sure about this. I think they have as good a shot as anyone in the AFC to be honest. Titans get Henry back and have home field they could go? KC obviously? Bills seem off this year as compared to what people thought preseason but maybe they can make a run? Pats with Bill? Bengals could beat any of those teams IMO

I prefer KC and NE to lose.
Of the AFC N *itches, I care the least about the Bungholes. Go ahead and win it so you can pay your roster and end your run.
While I want the Colts to lose next week, prior to today, I thought they had a good chance.

Tomlin's legacy. This speaks volumes, yet he still gets a pass with these NFL talking heads. Head scratcher with these indisputable facts.

That was a bad loss for Indy today but I think Wentz was Rusty being out with Covid all week

I will see if Art merely cares about that come next season in terms of what he can do with the generous Cap Space. Should it be the same old, same old, I will join you but only in questioning AR 2's ability to put together teams. Granted, Kevin and Mike will not be off the hook either for me.

As bad as that is, they have a more recent playoff win than we do.

One of the more pointless posts I've seen on here if none of those teams are winning SBs. If they did win the SB then the next question is what were they doing prior and after?? Only the Patriots have really been consistent. Both the Chiefs and Eagles had gone thru dry spells prior to their recent runs. Theres not a team you've listed otherwise that have consistently won playoff games much less a SB and if you're not winning the SB who cares what playoff games you've won or loss?? You think Bill's fans care that they won all those playoff games in the 90s only to lose four SBs???

I agree somewhat with what you’re saying but you gotta win playoffs if you want to win a chip. Steelers not even sniffing a fart lately

So you're saying if they had won at least the first game in the playoff appearances they made that the attitude would be any different?? Does anybody not ever consider the talent of the teams that actually have won SBs or playoffs games since the Steelers last won a playoff game and if the Steelers really had much of a chance even against the comp they faced?? I've posted a couple of times the level of talent that the Steelers have been putting on the field over the last few years and I was not only able to show that Steelers fans had past teams highly overrated but that realistically the year they lost to the Jags (truly disappointing) and the year after that were the only years where's Steelers fielded a team that could realistically make a push in the playoffs and win a SB, otherwise they would have been fortunate to scrape by with a playoff win in the other years (especially with key injuries). I'll post the link if I can find it ...but they havent been this juggernaut that everybody was making them out to be.

I went ahead and copied pasted these excerpts from posts I made over the last few weeks. 2018 was the other year that had a decent team, but they didnt even make the playoffs. It was eerily similar to this year. There was a tie ( Browns), a loss to a bad team ( Raiders), and Indy and or Baltimore both needed a loss the last game of the season...neither of which did. Baltimore beat Cleveland and Indy beat somebody else.

Reality is the team havent done that great with drafting and they havent done enough with splash pickups in free agency to compensate for reaching on overvalued draft picks that didnt work out. It's set them back actually and the end to Shaziers career was devastating because then they tried to compensate by picking up Bush in subsequent drafts who played above avg in his first couple of seasons but after his injury doesnt look like he will ever be the same.
