    I consider par average

14 teams make playoffs with mean 18 are not in the tournament

So just making it is above par

    To paraphrase March Masness

    We made the sweet 14
    The Elite 8
    Then the final four
    Championship

I consider the final four to be way above par

    HACK

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, Rodgers went baths!t controversial today with his comments. I’m not sure if the FO wants that type of distraction

What's with you and putting words in my mouth? When the hell did I say he was gonna play 10 years? I said he has 3 years of prime ball left.

If you're saying he has 3 years left in him, how would that ensure the Steelers don't suck for a decade? Understand how math works?

So how does that help them for the next 10 years? I brought this up earlier, but you didn't really answer. You keep saying the Steelers must trade for Rodgers to avoid sucking for the next 10 years, then you concede that he only has three years of prime performance left. That doesn't fit.

Tomato toe mah toe… it’s a rebuild lol. Just because Steelers don’t do it like others doesn’t mean it’s not a rebuild.

In simple terms we are not going to be a legit competitor for a while… if you like this 2018-2021 smokescreen “non rebuild” then that’s cool too lol

Except it’s not. Otherwise they have been rebuilding for their entire existence.

The biggest difference this year is they need a QB. That’s not a rebuild either.

Yeah I get what you are saying. “Re tool” lol. That’s the Steelers way… I’m just saying we need A LOT of pieces to be competitive again, especially with our coaching. It’s my opinion anyways

Forget Rodgers; I am still holding out hope that Tomlin can convince Watson to come to Pittsburgh to solve all of our QB problems.

Watson's court case with the grand jury is expected to be settled by the end of the month.

So, Lets START with the Watson to the Steelers nonsense!!!

You think Tomlin is gonna convince AR2 to give up three first rounders? No, so just like Rodgers, this one is no chance.

3 first rounders for an already proven franchise QB that is 26 years old is much easier to swallow than 3 first rd picks for a 38 year old.

It’s Watson off field issues which will prevent that from happening.

I still don't think that it would be in Rooney's DNA to give up that kind of draft capital no matter who the QB is.

I think we should get Rodgers, Wilson, Brady and Watson just to make sure we're covered. And that's the cap, nobody else can play.

Have you explained yourself yet how a QB with 3 good years left according to you is gonna fix the next 10?

Damn, now you are putting words into my mouth. I never said that but A Rodgers would allow us to compete for the next three seasons in an AFC that is completely loading up on elite type QB's. During that time find the new guy. I'm not saying sell the farm for Rodgers but at least make some reasonable trade offers.

Rodgers is likely going to cost at least two first-round draft picks. He is also going to take up a large chunk of the salary cap. That will significantly hinder the team's ability to correct its current issues and build for the future. Rodgers had a better supporting cast on offense in Green Bay this season. His defense gave up only six points in their playoff game. They still couldn't get past the first round.

Also, he wasn't putting words in your mouth. He was responding to Ox.

I'm on the side of doing what it takes within reason to go get A Rodgers for 3 seasons and then look for our next QB during that time. Not sure how that equates into 10 seasons but I joined the conversation late I guess.

Just a Question. I may have the wrong person, but weren't You one of the people that Want SBs, and not playoff losses? What has Rodgers done that makes You think it would be anything more than that??? So Give up Draft picks, and take on another huge salary cap % hit for the same outcome We can already get???
If You are not one of the SB , or bust people I was talking about.....I apologize.
