Teaching white man to dance since 1962! Red Stripe is not great beer, I’ll grant you that. I used to go to JA for work several times a yr, drank tons of Red Stripe. But Appleton Estate rum is the best in the Caribbean, get the 21 yr old if you can find it and afford it, Get the 12 yr old, if you can’t.

I told my Jamaican coworkers, that the pig was put on earth to be jerked. Curry goat, ackee and saltfish, oxtail, I miss it all.

 

I would go to Grenada and other Windward Islands

Jerk goat and curried lambi with Carib Beer

On Grenada we bought rum at the “factory” that didn’t even have a label on it I tried bringing 6 bottles back and it sent Miami Customs into a tizzy

After a lot of deliberation they made me pay a federal alcohol tax of $1.47

Seriously

 

I love all of that, but red stripe beer is the only beer with an automatic headache included in every bottle. LoL

When they asked if I had any alcohol I just said yes I don’t lie to people

He said “why didn’t you just say no”

When I went to the tax line they wanted to know what I had and what proof it was I said “ I dont know it was Tuesday at the rum factory”

That didn’t satisfy them so I randomly said 40% alcohol

They told me I had to pay the tax and they looked more disgusted than I did

 

Well that's not bad then all considered. Was it spiced??
