    Happy Easter to all of steeler nation and all our military members and families and to all that are working in jobs that keep the country safe and necessary jobs that have to be done every holiday. thank you! you guys are the greatest. God Bless. Mac must now start his racks of ribs for the giant children he has. 34 and 28 and i still bought them peeps for easter. :smiley1::cool:

    what's cookin this Easter? no ham here. 3 racks of baby backs, cheezy taters, broccoli, green beans and corn. Oh, and the traditional key lime pie. :hehehe::cool:

    A spiral ham, poor man's pierogies, fresh and smoked kielbasi, corn, green beans, apple pie with ice cream, and a coconut cake with custard creme center.

    Honey bourbon glazed Ham, Italian chicken, scalloped potatoes, meat and cheese ravioli, roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower with cheddar, and a cherry cheesecake.
    Not sure what everyone else is bringing.

    It's everything you use to make regular cheese pierogies, but you make it in a crock pot.

    You use a pasta. We used bow tie pasta this time, mashed potatoes, cheese, and sauteed onions, and lots of butter.

    You get an empty crock pot and put everything down in several layers. Some butter on the bottom of the crock pot, then cooked pasta first, then a layer of mashed potatoes pushed down into the pasta, then sprinkle the potatoes with sauteed onions, and cover with cheese. Keep adding a little butter as you go. Continue to do however many rows repeating the steps above until you fill the crock pot. Set it to low and occasionally stir as needed. It's ready to go and easy to make a lot of food for a lot of people. We love it. It's much less work than making all the individual pierogies.

    Those would actually be 4th of July decorations my friend!!!!!
