    On this Date, July 8, 1933, the Steelers franchise was founded by Art Rooney Sr. The name of the team at the time was originally the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Steelers name came to be in 1940.

    Rumor has it that they made a cake with 80 candles on it and 8 Lombardi trophies but a mishap by a possibly corrupted QB and another mishap by a Twitter foolish RB ultimately resulted in 2 of those trophies being smashed like a pin~ata. The 6 trophy cake will have to do for now. Each candle is shaped as a Hypocycloid!!!!!!!!!
