If you think Ben is the problem put down the pipe son. Without him we dont score a point. He is ALL WE HAVE.

Problem is our big plays come from Ben scrambling. It does not lead to consistency. What happened to quick slants and other short passes on 1st down

Those slants and quick hitters could be where you see Ben pump faking and extending the play. When he was working within the system early last year it was working but he started freelancing again and hasn't stopped.

No. Haley is not the problem.

    Tomlin is not the problem.

    The o-line isn't the problem.

    DL isn't the problem.

Slackers on defense are not the problem.

Failing on 3rd down on both sides of the ball isn't the problem.

Crappy RBs are not the problem.

A stable of WRs that would be #2s or #3s on any other team at BEST is not the problem.

Going -20 and counting on turnovers since the start of last season isn't the problem.

    They're all problems.

They all have a common cause too. ZERO leadership, discipline and preparation. Zero will to win. Zero heart.

Scuttle the whole thing and start from scratch. Much like Humpty Dumpty, no one can put this thing together as it is.

I don't think firing Haley is going to be some sort of magic cure all even if they dust off the Arians playbook there are still problems like Ray just illustrated.

I agree but at the end of the season Haley will be the scapegoat, they lose the turnover battle every game you can't blame that on coaching.

Sure you can. Lots of things go into turnovers besides individual execution. When multiple turnovers per game (to the tune of -20 over the last 19 games) are the trend, and when your D couldn't get a turnover if the QB straight up HANDED them the ball, you sure can start to point at coaching.

It's a thin grey line that separates where the blame lies- coaches vs players. Lots of guys who get paid a #$@%ton of money get it wrong on a yearly basis in the NFL.

I agree with you because the schemes are just SO predictable that teams see EVERYTHING we have coming from a MILE away. We aren't fooling anybody. I bet there are college teams with systems that are less vanilla. When you have no element of surprise this is just what you get. That's why I would like to see Wheaton or Moye get some shots because teams don't really have any film on them. Teams know what to expect from the rest of our guys.

Ben scrambles because the offensive line is bad silly. No other QB has to work in the pocket like he does, and its not so much that he is holding on to the ball too long. Remember that play tonight where the running back got blown up like 4 yards behind the ling of scrimmage because the line let a defender through unblocked, if that was a passing play...Ben would have been smeared.

Without him fumbling and throwing pics, they(Chicago)don't score 40 points but I'll keep the pipe lit because I'll need it in order to deal with this type of play week in and week out

I said it before I'll say it again, The oline is the source of our problems. This gots to be the worst starting five oline in the NFL.

Ben takes so much heat around here. im not sure what some of you want him to do.

for as smart as some of you want us to think you are, i have to wonder. the guy has zero time in the pocket. he is constantly under extreme pressure, but its all his fault. this blows me away.

he has 1 legit weapon in AB. he has no running game. his #2 & #3 wrs are possession type guys that are being forced to play every down. he has a great TE, but hes not healthy yet. he has the worst oline in football in front of him. his ocordinator has a game plan that doesnt work for this team and its personnel, but isnt making any changes to it, but you guys are right, its Bens fault.

I don't blame Ben for the loss, in fact with out Ben and BRown we woudn't have been in the game towards the end. Yea the two fumbles Ben commited was totaly his fault. on the interceptions, 1 Cotchery look like he stpped on his rout and never turned around to look for the ball, and on the 2nd one that was just a desperation pass trying to make somthing happen.
