Glad to hear you are OK. 3 years ago, I broke my collar bone in a cycling accident. It sucks... and takes a while to recover.

How are you healing?

 

A slow process but coming along. I had a plate put in last Wednesday. There are a few muscles that are completely locked up by evening and really painful. Dr. told me that everyone experiences numbness where the plate is and I can confirm that is true. He said it will gradually get better over 2 years but never completely go away.

 

Hang in there... Broke my clavicle in a 3 wheeler accident 20 years. Starting to now have tendons locking up around it. Not fun at all

Didn't Aaron Rogers break both his (not at the same time)? Funny how when a football player breaks a collar bone we say "it's not too serious of an injury" but when us normal guys bust it, we realize it's not so minor after all. I'm not a fan of opiates, as I have seen many lives destroyed, but boy - taken responsibly - they sure do help get through things like this.

 

Best of luck on the recovery....maybe you'll get to enjoy a couple extra days off work
