I've been saying for months that we'll win the rematch in Foxboro in January. There have been some injury and self-inflicted hiccups along the way, but i still firmly believe that if we don't beat ourselves we are the team to beat in the AFC.

Yeah I see it happening... If our secondary wasn't in shambles that first game we would have one that one too, quite easily IMHO.

We need to stay relatively healthy the rest of the way though.

We are getting some street cred now. We are 6 point favorites against the Donkeys.

The media is also beginning to see the potential that we already knew was there all along.

Nobody wants to face this offense ( where's the Haley haters now? lol) wouldn't surprise me if the Cheats threw the game vs the jets ..if it came down to who gets in ..Steelers or the Jets

This better not be a big turd week. Denver does have a legit defense, let's see how we fare against a team that doesn't suck. (Only wins against winning teams AZ and Cincy).

Unfortunately, Our secondary is still in shambles much too often.

I'd like for the Steelers to take it to the Cheaters up in Foxboro but I'd rather not. I just don't trust them. Last time they got away with the headset issue which directly impacted the game cause we didn't cover Gronk. Who knows what they will come up with for the rematch. Hopefully someone else knocks them off for us.

Definitely. When this offense is playing smart football, it's the most dangerous in the AFC. The Pats offense as a whole is a shell of what it was earlier in the season. I'm not saying they suck by any means, but they've come back down to earth.

NFL Channel just pumped Steelers vs Broncos as "Game of the Year"

I can`t wait. Expecting a win, but how do we match up against their D? Seahags and Bungles D are a couple of the best and that didn`t matter. Maybe all depends on our D. We can`t let them score like the Seahags did.

Well.... it should be a hell of a lot better of a match up than the two NFL network games (Tampa @ Rams & Jets @ Cowboys)....:frustrated:

Denver leads the league in sacks and in forced fumbles - they are really a good defense. They really get after the QB and they are a top defense wrt defending the pass as well. This will be the biggest test for our offense. I think they are #1 against the pass and # 1 in points allowed.

I would love to be given the opportunity to beat the Patriots. We gotta get there first, though... One game at a time.

I thought they had a legitimate defense as well until they dropped a game to the Raiders. I guess though if stats mean anything they have the stats on their side

In all fairness.... They gave up 15 points to the raiders...... It's not like they were Indy and gave up 51.... Most good nfl offenses would think they could win if they held their opponents to 15.

Patriots are dealing with injuries at key skill positions, so they are vulnerable. Still... the Steelers would have to bring their A-game to pull out a victory at Foxborough. If the D plays like it did in Seattle... Patriots will win by 10+

Still here, he's got flaws to be sure, like stupid ill timed trick plays that kill drives or not knowing when its key to use your running attack or throwing a bomb on 3rd and inches to name a few.

He's not completely inept, with these weapons, Id expect nothing less than what we've shown we are capable of doing.

He's basically playing BA ball now, guess Ben won out after all :lolol:

naaaa Ben is playing Haley ball, the quick cross routes are all Haley and those plays are the ones killing teams,,,they open up the bombs .. Ben is getting rid of the ball much quicker now, that's Haley, not Bubble head BA

I was reading on Denver forums, they feel we are the best AFC team and that we can beat pats too. Man, it's night and day between reading bengals/ravens forums and Broncos/colts (that I have peeked) so far. Night and day. Bengals and Raisin fans sound like thugs online. All I see is them wanting our guys to be hurt and a lot of **** lol

I would love another crack at New England but I'm with those that just want to get there first. New England is still the team to beat in the AFC IMO. I would love to see Bryant against their secondary. A lot of games in front of us before that happens though. One game at a time. Take care of Denver this weekend, see if the NYJ or the Chiefs lose and then we'll be in business. Gotta keep winning though. Division is not over either!!

Not so much anymore, their game is much more vertical now and although the article doesn't say it, I think part of it is due to Bell being gone for the year. He was a huge part of the short passing attack.
