I am always happy to admit being wrong basically cause it happens and I don't care to try spinning my wrongness. Moats broke it down well. So even though the plays that caught my eye were ones that saw Pierre trying to QB the secondary and missing his assignment, there were plenty where he showed good technique and was able to cover his man.

I saw this thorn. I look at it two ways for him. One, he knows the defense well enough to get others set. Two, he won't have to do this with the starters and can play his position as well as he did without those worries. Nice to see a year two player comfortable enough this early. There were plenty of guys out of position in that first game and that will get cleaned up. I like the play of these young guys and just wait until they learn it better. Win, win.
