    Good: Just amazing Steeler win.

    Bad: Weather

Ugly: me and my sister actually missed being nervous with 2 minutes to go. We use to text each other constantly near the end of Steeler games. She fell asleep at end of 3rd quarter.

The Good: Ben and WRs... Claypool, JuJu, Johnson, Washington, RaeRae and Ebron. Alualu and TJ Watt on D.

The Bad: Offensive line run blocking. It hasn't been this bad since the days of Redman and Dwyer during the 8-8 stretch of 2012-13. This will come back to bite us against teams like the Chiefs and Bills.

The Ugly: 2 point conversions. When was the last time Steelers converted a 2 point conversion?

Good: 9-0, the defense was suffocating, Ray Ray, Joe Haden's underrated game Ben, Entire Defense, Ray Ray
Bad: Some miscommunications in the passing game, rush defense was OK
Ugly: Offense left a ton of point on the field. They could have scored 45-50 easy.

Things are going well when the 2nd string QB plays the last 7 minutes of the 4th quarter.

    good - 9-0

bad - Claypool needs to get some practice on the jugs machine (last 2 games)

ugly - offensive line needs an injection of youth

    UGLY:
    Jonathan Vilma

This guy is utter non-sense. He is like a talking locomotive, he gets going and he just won't stop.

After Ray-Ray's nice return, during the replay, he commented that Ray-Ray had one man to beat (the punter)and he beat him, and then was tackled by some other guy.

Celebrations are dumb and I wish players would act like they've done good thing before but I then realize that this thing we are watching IS Entertainment and the players are entertainers and are paid for entertaining. Like Maximus and the gladiators being paid millions, "are you not entertained". Sucks but that is the way I see it. If you don't like watching these things go to college and HS games where it is mainly for sports and its not allowed. Winning seems to not want me giving a crap about inconsequential things right now.

I listen to the radio vs tv volume. It helps if you can coordinate the two. Mute works pretty good as well. I started doing this with Jaws, Chuckie, Booger, the list is endless.

Good: Solid win is all phases and the game not being even remotely in question. Low stress for sure.

    Bad: Short yardage plays

Potentially Ugly: Something seems to be wrong with Ben and his elbow. The long pass is not working and I keep seeing him rubbing his elbow like its an issue. Could be why the emphasis in short to medium passing unlike previous years when he aired it out a lot. Maybe its a good idea for Ben to not practice so much during the week to save what he has for the games. I don't know but something seems off to me and I didn't even have that many beers.

Good: 9-0! Not having a line on my @ss from sitting on the edge of the seat. Ben, Watt, Boz, DJ, Claypool, the D as a whole, hell the team as a whole!

Bad: Why they kept running outside boggles the mind especially with the Big Mac shelved. It wasn't working Randy! Conner N&S!

Pretty: Mopping the floor with the Bungles

Special teams have been very good this year. Can you please tell that to some of the numbskulls in the gameday thread that are calling for Danny Smith to be fired every time one little thing goes wrong.

Idk...Ben's arm looks " stronger " than it has been in years! He had quite a few throws look like they were thrown " to hard " for the WR's...Looks like they went right through their hands...Again, it " seems " like Bens throws have some serious gas on them

Good: Big Ben, Claypool, Johnson, Juju, Pass blocking, Boswell Nailing 3 Field Goals and all the extra points, in a really bad windy day is not easy.

Bad: Not really heads up on the fake punt, but why was it run in the 1st place down 29 points (Zac Taylor isn't bright), little bit of slow start. the 3rd quarter took 3 years to complete.

Ugly: The run game and run blocking against the 29th ranked team against the run. It has to be better than shown the last 4 weeks.

    The good:
    1. We won
    2. Ben and the wr's were mostly in sync
    3. Ben's deep ball
    4. pass blocking
    5. pass defense and pass rush
    6. Special teams coverage rebounded well from last week
    7. Berry had his best punting day as a steeler and boz was automatic as usual
    8. we play the jags next week

    The bad:
    1. even 36-10 was closer than it should've been
    2. run blocking
    3. James Connor was not running with any real authority
    4. run defense was still struggling

    The ugly:
    1. after getting all the practice reps during the week, the coaches wouldn't let mason throw the ball at all

Things are going well when your 2nd string QB only plays one set of downs in the last 7 minutes, and the fans are actually happy about it.

Some of us post it because some numbskulls don't realize that those breakdowns are indications of Danny Smith not having his units prepared, which has been an issue for years. It wasn't as if anybody was blaming him for a fumble. There is no excuse for not only having a massive flaw in the field goal protection but also being unable to fix it in-game. Special teams nearly cost the Steelers that game in Dallas. It wasn't just one bad play. It was at least four of them.

The Bengals ran that fake because there was a flaw in the way the Steelers' punt return team was set up. The two guys responsible for making a tackle in that situation were Snell and Samuels, and they weren't in the proper position. Yet again, that is Smith not having his guys prepared.

Remember, this is the same special teams coach who has had his return guys not realize that the free kick after a safety is a live ball TWICE. How do you not remind the return guys of that simple fact every time?

This team has a truly gifted return guy, a great kicker, and a very good punter. That overcomes a lot of what Smith does.

Down 29 points seems like the perfect time to run a fake punt...if you're the Bengals.

Oh, it was stupid for the Bengals to run it. That was actually a gift to the Steelers. They showed them the flaw in their punt return team. Of course, I don't trust Smith to fix it, but at least the issue has been exposed. If the Bengals were smart about it, they would have saved that for the second meeting when it might actually make a difference.

The Steelers were caught off guard, which I don't necessarily fault in that situation, but it looked like they were guarding against a fake punt at one point vs the Cowboys last week. They did get burned on the punt return lateral in that game, so who knows what Danny Smith is up to.

They aren't throwing flags for teams running to the end zone to celebrate, just about every team does it, isn't that why those video screens are down there?
