Having watched many of the Chiefs games from 2009, I can say that Haley has a lot of diverse run packages, with a lot of short motion in the back field. I think if he had better toys that year, you would see him going to the air much more (see AZ the year before). Overall, I think most fans will be pleased with the creativity and lack of predictability they see this year.

I went back and watched the majority of the '09 Chefs offensive possessions, as well as recaps from the '08 Cardinals games, and SB 43 to get a better idea of what to expect with Haley's play calling/playbook. I even thought about charting out the 09 games for fun, but I didn't really think anyone would be interested in the results.

hey TTF, you know what would make you the awesomest? post your results and then go look at when he was with dallas and post those. complete with video and sound bites. broken down into directional stats, weather conditions, times and dates,grass or turf, injuries, health, bad hair days and.................................. :-D

Ooooh, a homework assignment. I could be up for some of that, but I think I'd need to blackmail someone at NFL films to accomplish some of those. In the name of thoroughness, maybe I should hire a PI to question some of his childhood neighbors and classmates while I'm at it. :lol:

I'd be happy enough to hear the general gist of the results, boiled down to a few sentences.

Although I am interested on the bad hair day correlation, since it gets so windy at Heinz.
