That should have been a penalty on the Bengals, at least illegal contact. Given how close Pickens made it, interference would have been appropriate. Instead, the Bengals get another lucky break.

 

They needed to even it out for the crowd. Plus it sets the Steelers up deeper. Changing that field position battle.

But the problem with that - Kazee could have made it all moot if he holds onto the ball. If he doesn't score, the Steelers are already in scoring position. So blaming the refs completely discounts the Steelers leaving plays on the field repeatedly today.

 

It would be nice if KP could throw a pass to someone that's longer than 10 yards that isn't overthrown, such that players don't need to risk injury trying to catch it.
