Game Thread: Steelers v. Patriots week 1.

Playing very conservative and we should be 14-9 0r 14-13......... we can still pull this out!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Look like **** so far. Not too surprising.

 

LOL!! Almost thought the game was over with the way a couple of Steelers patted Brady.

 

Bey is playing. Kept 2 drives alive like it or not. Sure he could've postured better in the end zone but he's playing. Damn cutie gadget stalled us, missed fgs... We're not out of this yet

 

this game should be 9-7 us....

 

Agree 100%. With our D will can't afford to leave points out there. Would have loved a TD but 9-14 would not be that bad. Going to need a pick to turn this game around

 

Right up until the flanker reverse option pass anyway

 

Untill we tried to get cute, thats when we lost all momentum, on offense, not sure we had / have any defense

 

We have better players but they have better coaches - that is why we are losing.

Honestly I think the O is doing OK,not lighting it up but moving the ball,,their D stinks ,,we just don't have the points we should have,,thats the difference between winning and losing these types of games..The Pats have their go to guy and they go there ..Not hard when you leave the guy wide open either .Geesh

That one idiotic play broke every ounce of momentum they built at the beginning of the game. Unfortunately the Steelers have become known for doing it. You don't need to do that when everything else you are doing on offense is working perfectly. That is the kind of junk you should do when you are desperate because you can't move the ball against a defense, not when you are carving them up like Swiss cheese. Stupid.

 

We should be winning at the half.

Stupid gadget play to break our own momentum on first possession.

Stupid Bey has not learned the receiver position yet, leave some room inbounds waiting on a pass, duh.

Missed field goals.

Whatever it takes to not score, we did it.

Even with all that, we can win this. We could pass every down and get away with it if we want.

 

Yes, a turnover would be a huge boost and maybe swing some momentum our way.

 

Bens gonna have to be the league MVP for us to have a chance to make the playoffs this year

 

HAS any player even hit Brady besides Dupree??

 

Can't argue with that!
