I like to go through the schedule each year and see which games are danger games for us. I like to look and say, okay, what games are on the list that based on talent alone could we lose. Here is how I see things this year:

@ Denver - We could lose this game. I could see it happening. On the road to start the year is always tough. (L)

Jets - Sanchez looks bad. Home opener. Yeah, we win this one. (W)

@ Oakland - Win. Carson Palmer just doesn't have the weapons to beat us. (W)

Philly - We could lose this. Yes, it is at home, but Vick has always given us fits, and that Dline will probably make our OLine look poor. (L)

@ Tenn - Locker may not be a rookie, but this is his first year starting. We don't lose games like that. (W)

@ Cinn - I could see us losing to them unless they have imploded around themselves again. (L)

    Washington - Rookie QB....win. (W)

@ New York G. - I see this as a probable loss. Their front 4 will give us fits. No matter what happens this will be billed as Eli versus Ben. (L)

Kansas City - Haley will want to prove a point. (W)

Baltimore - At home and IMO potentially must win in order to get the division. I could see us losing, but I don't think so.(W)

    @ Cleveland - The Browns...win. Yeah, I know they are improved, but Weeden...win. (W)

@ Baltimore - On the road, they want revenge. I see Loss (L)

San Diego - Either they have it figured out this year or they have imploded again. I see a win. (W)

@ Dallas - Since this game is on the road a L is possible, but their D doesn't scare me at all. After having already played at Baltimore, Carolina, Atlanta, Philly and New York Giants as well as home against Philly and the Giants, this game probably is either a make or break game for them or they have folded like a cheap suit. With New Orleans and @ Washington yet to play, they may already be out of the playoffs. (W)

    Cinn - Win (W)

    Cleveland - Win (W)

That puts us at 11-5. It will be interesting to see how close I get, but my prediction is still 12-4 on the year meaning one of my losses we end up winning.

I agree with the Denver theory but don't think we lose to Philly coming out of a bye week. I like you see a split with the Ravens and a potential loss to either the Giants (I'm in NJ and am so looking forward to going to that game) or possibly losing a trap game to San Diego or Washington

I always figure us around 12 - 4, 11 - 5, something like that. That's because there are always a couple games where you look at the schedule that most likely will be a loss, usually it's NE, this year I can see them losing to the Eagles, always give us fits and the Giants. So lets say that's 2 losses, then you have to figure that each season there is always a couple losses to teams they should beat, there's another 2 losses. Then you figure that they will most likely lose one to the Ravens and thats how I come up with a win total of around 11 or 12 wins. I'll go 12 - 4, in case they pull out one of those games against either the Eagles or Giants.

More like there defense it seems, they were all over Ben the last time, previous to that, I don't recall other then the fact we always seem to lose to them. Maybe I am misremembering

Yeah, we all remember the '08 game. And I know Vick can run around and he put up some points in our Tommy Maddox days. But I still feel like we do much better against him than other defenses do (just like most QBs). Not only that, he's not half as scary as he was even two years ago. But he does seem kind of like the least of our worries for that game. And we'll be coming off a bye week. Hopefully our OL will have gelled a bit by then, because that's definitely our bigger concern in my eyes.

The Eagles Dline is going to give Ben a heart attack. That's not a good match up for us.

I think 10-6 or 11-5, depending on the Oline.
