I think Gainwell surprised a lot of people with his performance.

You were? I don't remember anybody saying Gainwell would do something like that. I could be wrong. I certainly didn't think he could step up effectively as the lead back because nothing in his career indicated that he could do so. I hope it continues. I didn't think Warren could be a true lead back and the fact that he is already dinged up enough to miss a game showed that my concerns were fair.

He stepped up big time in that game. I think we have seen enough to realize he still isn't someone they want out there consistently, but give him credit for some excellent plays yesterday.

Very well deserved and for the first time in a long time there could have been numerous others in the running whom usually don’t qualify. I like where this team is heading. Very concerned about how that game became close yesterday but it was a great overall win against a quality opponent. Wish the bye week were not this soon. Congrats Kenneth!

Yes, your post was worded a little too awkwardly to be clear. Was that an attempt at a Haiku or something?:hehehe:

What? You never had some annoying English teacher force you to write one in elementary school? I hated that crap so much.

I had a horrible English teacher in high school

I had nuns in grade school and I'm betting that was not a word they used

It did help the running game with adding the extra linemen. It took 4 games to change things up on offense and defense with the extra blitzing.

Huh? That's not new. McCormick started 14 games last season and every game so far this year.

You meant going with a sixth lineman? Clearly, they saw some vulnerabilities in the Vikings' run defense. That's not something that is going to work consistently against every opponent.

In the small community where I lived grade school in the public school was still being taught in German

It was as far from culturally diverse as it could get
