Was Dillion a "cast off" or did he merely hit the free agent market? There is a difference.

Dillon was a cast off by the Bengals they felt going younger was the way to go and that Dillon who was looking to get paid wouldn't have the years left to be worth the money. If memory serves he didn't get the interest he thought he would and took what NE offered in hopes he could get a ring. He enjoyed a resurgence but didn't see anywhere near the yardage he did in Cincinnati

Edit : nevermind I remembered the situation wrong he was traded to the Pats for a second rounder.

Straw man argument, lol, wth are you talking about :lolol:

The Steelers ARE selective in their signings, they find players that fit and at reasonable prices, it's my position in the argument and I said free agent PLAYER, singular, as in a DR signing, you don't have to in order to win, its the basis of your argument when you cite NE's acquisition of him. How am I portraying you falsely???

Selectively signing some players that can help? That's precisely what the Steelers have been doing isn't it?

That was exactly my point when I wrote "notice that everyone of these guys were signed between the Patriots last two Super Bowls wins." He conveniently ignored that key point.

If we could get as much production from Moats as NE did from Vrabel that would be GREAT!
