forced retirement of Polamalu killed the 2ndary

    I disagree. Our worst DBs during that era.... Hope, Clark and McFadden were better than anybody we have now, sans Haden. I have faith in Edmunds. He's gonna be good.

    I'll agree with Clark - he was a thumper that is sorely missed. Mitchell tried to be that guy, but ugh...

    Hope was good, and I guess McFadden just didn't imprint anything on my memory for him. I'll chalk that up to - "if you don't remember anything bad, they were decent".

    McFadden was a big reason we got by the Colts in the divisional round... January '06. Manning was in desperation mode and tried to hit Reggie Wayne for a 20+ yard completion. McFadden had him covered.
