Here is what the Broncos kicker had to say

McManus said it was worst wind he's kicked in in his life. "Nothing in pregame then 30 mph. Was tough"

okay wind was tough but on fourth down if the wind is too bad for a FG then maybe it's also too bad for a 40 yard pass?

I was fine with the punt...it was Cowher football...defense and field position...Berry just sucked and was the underrated goat of the game.

You can coach all you want, but maybe just maybe Ben's eyes were focused on Wheaton instead of a wide open Heath. Some times players make mistakes. I said in another thread, the wind can be really deceiving.... and was probably a big reason for so many WR drops on both sides. It really doesn't take much to deflect that ball a little for it to mess with your head (and hands).

That pass was just one in a season of poor decisions made by Ben. I'm not sure what got into him this year, but he really seemed to have a habit of forcing the ball as opposed to using his check downs. I know airing out is exciting, but I would prefer moving the chains and keeping our offense on the field.

I'd rather hear what Boswell had to say about it. I doubt he would say a word but it would be nice to know his thoughts on the situation.

I am sure he was ask what yardage he was comfortable with. I can still see that 47 yarder clearing by a few yards

I was surprised, understood if he missed it they gave Denver good field position. But in a game that's low scoring, you have to take advantage of every scoring opportunity.

This. I know a lot here would disagree, but they were already getting mammoth field position against us - at least it would have been on THEIR side of the 50.
