This has to be the most ridiculous thread ever on this board, yeah let's fire a top 5 GM . Colbert keeps this team in contention every season without the benefit of picking early in the draft, or having tons of money to spend in free agency.

 

OK! While I consider my selection you prove Colbert had more than 6 good to really good defensive draft picks since 2011. You know what have you done for me lately.

Being that Kevin Colbert has had exactly ONE below .500 season since he has been director of football operations/GM, or GM/Vice President. (2000)

I think his job is fairly safe.

Ultimately it doesn't matter. The Steelers were 12-3 last year. That's the best record since 2004. Players are hit or miss in the draft, and was pointed out, to fire Colbert would be simply foolish.

He did bring in 2 corners last year and two safeties this year from the draft. Both of the rookies drafted this year got an INT last game. So you're not making a very good case here to fire Colbert.
