I still have faith...... A healthy defense can win us at least 6 games..... Our injured main guys will be back soon and we can continue the mirage

Somehow they’ll win just enough to keep us interested until the End and mess up their Draft position.

    Don’t ever quit.

Yes, but they have $25-30M in dead cap money in voidable years that will accelerate against the 2022 cap after the Super Bowl. That money could have been used to fill other holes.

It was Batch and Savran on the post game show, they said they don't see him at the facility, but who knows.

If Andy Dalton comes back or if Justin Fields starts to play better we might lose the bears game.

I doubt we get a decent QB fast. NFL history shows a big gap typically. Montana/Young, Favre/Rodgers. Plus we won’t get better until Tomlin leaves. We need a coach. The worse thing about Tomlin might be him refusing to get rid of Danny Smith. How many times did we refuse to pick up a live ball on a kickoff. Yet he still has a job

It really depends on the health of the defense. People are getting caught up in two games in which the strength of the team was crippled by injuries.

Currently the winless teams are Jaguars, Colts, Lions, Giants and Jets. I am doubting we will have more wins than the Jaguars, Colts and Lions. That only leaves the giants and Jets. However the Giants play in the NFC east so who knows what they do. Could we have a top 3 pick?

Mason might but you know TOMBERT / ROONEY will NOT allow a change at QB.

groins can nag you all season long. TJ might not be TJ again until next season.

At beginning of season I was thinking those last two games will decide our season, now not so sure but it would be just like them to keep us hoping.

PS: Love the E-A-G-L-E-S next two games. We should have peace and quiet. I see less and less jersey's these days. Thankfully the supermarket has stopped playing that stab my eyes out fight song.

This is assuming that the team, in particular the defense, gets healthy at some point.
If they keep stacking injuries, then all predictions go out the window.

    Bears, Lions
    - As bad as the Steelers are right now, those organizations find ways to be worse.

    Broncos
    - They are 3-0 right now, in the way that the Steelers were 11-0 last year.
They went 5-11 last year. Their victories this year are against the Jaguars, Jets, and Giants (0-10 combined).
They are traveling to Pittsburgh after a game against the Ravens.

The Steelers also have a chance to get 2+ wins for the 5 division games.

Ravens (week 13) - They almost lost to the Lions, despite leading by 13-0 in the second half.
The Browns play them weeks 12 and 14, and the Browns have a week 13 bye.
I see those as all-out brawls that both those teams are concentrating on.
They could easily overlook the Steelers this year.

Bengals - In the loss, the Steelers lost the turnover battle. They still outgained the Bengals in yardage. And the Bengals play
the Raiders in LV the week before.

Browns - After their bye week, they play the Ravens, Raiders, and Packers. Hopefully they are beat up, and have an off game in Pittsburgh on a Monday night.

We will see. If the defense plays lights out, we might win the Detroit and Chicago game. Other than that, we are gonna need to score at least 24 points a game. I said at the end of last season, Steelers would have the worst QB in the AFC North this year. Some laughed... now that's a nervous laugh, at best.

Who knows? They need better draft position. To have another faux winning season to me would pacify some but not me.

I want to see how the great popcorn deals with a losing season.

This team is in a rebuilding mode. A green Offensive line with a statue at QB who does what he wants. It isn't working. They have zero identity. Add the major loss of Alualu and Tuitt(I feel he won't be back this season) a struggling Bush and Fitzpatrick, groins issues with multiple players on defense, a secondary still trying to find their footing, and banged up receivers. But they have a solid punter in Harvin III.

I don't want to see them lose but this team is just not that good. They need changes but seem to be stuck in reverse.

They aren't going to get a top 3 pick, I don't care what the record is right now.
