Falcons caught cheating

Apparently, it is against the rules to create artificial crowd noise and the Falcons could be fined and lose draft picks because of it. I thought teams did this like crazy. Here's the article.

That's really odd. I've been to several falcons games in the last few years and it's not that loud.

 

That's what I was thinking. They were chanting "DEFENSE" over the system. Maybe it only pertains to indoor teams?

 

I saw something earlier today that said they apparently only wound up finding one ball that was underinflated. Maybe the first reports were erroneous. If Atlanta was really cheating then they must really be horrible because they sure don't have anything to show for it.

 

I don't kno where you saw this at, but i read the same thing (i'm assuming) a couple of days ago. and it was written bye some guy from a Boston web sight ..

They started with the reports about only one ball being 2 pounds below, now they throw out an Atlanta Falcons crowd noise cheating probe, which will be turned into every team does it and help them brush the Patriots indiscretions under the rug.


All part if the plan. They can not have the team that just won the Super Bowl be punished for cheating. Throws the whole system in doubt.

 

It was on some news show I saw a preview of but didn't get to watch. I had to go drop the kids off and get to physical therapy and didn't get to stick around to see what they said but it said there was a "report" that said only one ball was found to be "seriously underinflated" or something like that. I don't know where they got that info but it might be from the source you are citing.

 

I would not put it past the NFL machine to do something like what you just described.

My buddy told me about this today. I'm not surprised that Haslam would have a culture of corruption there. He's a white collar criminal and if his brother was not the governor of this state he would be in prison right now. He's a very, very bad person. He cheated small trucking companies out of millions and was even on tape laughing about doing it and talking about how stupid they were. Pilot's hq is about 30min from my house and the FBI raided it and a bunch of his employees took the fall. The dude is a huge scumbag.
